still drawings from the car

since I updated on Saturday, you guys get NOTHING!!! HAHAHA-oh wait, here's a sketch that sorta started it all.

Dudes, I'm at work, I have an excuse--I won't have time tonight, seeing yet another concert ORZ but I gave a clue in the form of...uh...muttonchops+accordion+time masheen but I think everyone already knows the answer.

this was meant to go out on Friday. Well, scratch that, this was from Wednesday, I just thought it failed so I was like 'WHATEVER' and my brain was like "FINE THEN" and I was all "pff" and then I totally waslike "oh shit I'm lazing on Friday, screw drawing" and then uh upload!

Original character was from an 8th grade fantasy-parody idea, LEAGUE OF WARRIORS (L.O.W. for short). Here's the little kid spellcaster!

My update, which is scarifying and uh, I added Kirby dots sorta! That counts for something! :P

In sharp contrast to yesterday's OLD OC where I was drawing tiny eyes, I must've decided it wasn't animu enough and started making the eyes as BIG as possible.

Also, I think I was pulling names out of my ass. ANYWAY, Novera or Noya or whatever the hell her name was, I guess she was part of a fantasy COMIC I was drawing in middle school (6th or 7th grade) and wow, it's as bad as you'd imagine.

I been playing too much Soul Calibur 4. Here's a sketch of the outfit my self-portrait character ended up wearing, glasses and all. It's...pretty similar to outfits I've worn before, that's for sure.

HAY guys I got this commission from my church in Harrisonburg and it eats all my sketching energy/time. I don't feel I should post final images of the sketches until they're ready, but here are some of the sketches that didn't quite work, lol.

It's a tile design for the new tile pattern to go down the center aisle of the church.

Here's the uber-giant painting that I made in Sangram's class for three weeks following the week spent on this drawing. (Earlier post) I liked the drawing, but the painting is really ugly. It is a little over five feet tall, and six feet wide. Making the stretcher bars and stretching and priming took me a week. After all that, the experience was excellent. Now that I have constructed and painted one surface this big I am not scared to do it again, and ten times better. I'll start by including adequate support so the sides don't bow in like they did. You can't see here, but the painting looks like this:

Doesn't it seem backward when the process of making the support seems as much of an ordeal as the painting itself?

Ehhh, I've been so busy as of late and I'm feeling down and exhausted.

Patrick and I caught the end of THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE. HAIR FROM THE PAST with goofy bangs is always crizazy.
