So in the vein of that bitchin' cake I made, I decided to up the ante and make pizza from scratch! Well, mostly. So tonight, a few friends (including the illustrious [info]morgainlefay) and I made some pizzas! I used a variation on this recipe for the dough, which YES I MADE FROM SCRATCH being inspired by [info]wajane's breadmen. It rose!

At the end of the day, we had:

1 personal pan spinach and cheese pizza for Patrick

1 large pesto sauce pizza with tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplant, and squash--

1 large pizza with broccoli on one half (pictured), pineapple on the other (eaten, not pictured), and lots of cheddar cheese--

and 1 large pesto pizza with half lots of squash, other half lots of eggplant, zucchini, goat cheese, feta cheese, and tomatoes--

OH LORDY LEFTOVERS YEAHHHH!

same piece, different day

This is the same project- from an earlier day. It had been soaking for about twenty-four hours at this point. The picture I uploaded on Wednesday was actually from later in the process-- grosser and smellier-- a three day old bath.

Sorry for the long absence everyone! I have missed Aye Aye. Here is my final for my ceramics class, which focused on casting. I made bread, made a plaster mold from it, made clay bread from that, made clay molds from that, and baked bread in the clay molds in my oven, after sealing them with canola oil baked into the clay for hours at 400 degrees. The surfaces are made with butter and buttermilk and oil. So, you see here three bread positives, one bread negative, six ceramic positives, and three ceramic negatives. There are four plaster molds, (three negatives, one positive) that are not pictured.
