This past week's Venture Brothers has been my favorite of the season, thus far. I liked Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's new costume, although this was drawn from memory and is probably highly inaccurate (except for the boobs).

KRISTA PRESENTS! Stenciled with the freezer paper trick, which is AWESOME for doing any stencils on shirts. Just iron it on, and creates a great seal to paint over. and a banner:

Am busy this week, so any posts I have probably won't be too exciting.
finished. Background not as exciting as what I did yesterday.
Background next? Colors? We'll see!
A few factors-- a.) needed some lineart to try out this coloring technique I found, so I whipped this up 2.) tylercat recently drew Lady Winter, and so I was like "OH WELL I BETTER DRAW LADYNIGHT" III.) I think it's been a while since I've drawn a chick who wasn't me. SHE'S BORED. Also, I guess more photoshop/tablet practice is good for me. Or something.
For one, I slapped on color. :P
continuer, s'il vous plaƮt! I should actually try to color a pic next time. Instead of, y'know, slapping colors on it.
If no one's been really paying attention (and I can't blame ya), this is more of my progression into 'exaggerated angles'. I'm trying to loosen up to get more 'action' in my poses.
Inked: color'd: i'm so tired. :(

So everyone loved watching the X-men cartoon from...92 or 93, right? I mean, as an impressionable youth, it makes sense that you'd want super powers and everything. Loved the cartoon, but what I really loved were the videogames! Bro and I played X-men 2 on the Sega Genesis, and you could bamf around as Nightcrawler (which I loved doing) and stick on the walls as Psylocke. So Psylocke was automatically AWESOME for that. Also, a year or two after that, Capcom brought out X-Men: Children of the Atom, and everyone knows Capcom makes awesome 2-d fighting games. Psylocke was AWESOME (mostly b/c she was the only female character; well, there was Storm, b ut Storm was always sorta...mannish to me?) ANYWAY. Sorry, I don't know where I put my old old diary with my piss-poor Psylocke drawings. So no comparison shot today. YEAH THE ACTUAL PSYLOCKE IS PRETTY LAME BUT WHATEVS. Capcom makes everyone cool.

I don't believe I uploaded the entire finished tegaki of the nurse, so here she is.
I'm tired, I did an hour and a half of yoga in addition to walking, so she's missing the blade. I haven't drawn it in yet, and I can't be bothered to right now. :P
...since the subject is Georgette an' all. WALK picture ink'd-- And a bunch of tiny Georgettes which were supposed to be thumbs of her kung fu-ing, but look like she's dancing and part of her leg has turned into a bean. :\
Continuing on in Georgette week...building up her backstory a little; we already knew she was a merc and by default attacks guys with a rapier. Well, when she isn't snapping necks and using kung fu tactics. KRISTEN--did you get your b -day card yet? can I upload here nao?
Oh wow, it's been a while since I've done an actiony pose, so here's Georgette, fresh for Georgette week! Which uh, hasn't been happening so far, but whatever! Critiques are useful, since I'm not sure what to do with her legs exactly. YEAH I will be fixing her feet probably.
First Benedict, now Nurse! I spent more time tonight thinking about drawing and sitting with a blank page of my sketchbook open and a pencil in my hand, but alas, I ran out of time once I got into doing a tegaki. Finish this tomorrow hopefully.
When I can't think of anything else to draw, sexy ladies in boring poses are generally the way to go.
