I did the wallpaper tiling project thing too! I kind of failed at lining everything up though D: I made it yellow because of this creepy story I read in high school about a lady who gets locked up in a room with yellow wallpaper and it drives her BATSHIT CRAZY.

My parents' 29th anniversary was on Monday.

When I wasn't making signs and tees this week, I was making cards! This is for father's day, posted early, but eh I don't think my dad checks this thing.

I finally got around to ordering some imps from black phoenix, so I made this book for writing down my reactions to the scents I tried! The cover and black/white inside pages are from old calendars, the rest of the paper is either old origami paper or leftover paper from paper source. I sewed it all together with sewing thread!

Quickie as a wedding card for a co-worker. It was going to say "GOOD JOB" but I thought of something more relevant.

Salted-caramel buttercream frosting actually less good than the crisco-maine filling.

It's hanami (cherry-blossom watchin') time in DC, and what better way to celebrate than with some HOMEMADE MOCHI?




I made the first batch (with mochiko brand rice flour and that recipe) in white, and the second brand (with generic rice glutinous rice flour and an online recipe) in pink. Filled with nutella, PAIN IN THE ASS to roll. So sticky, it's not a lie.

I was still feeling crafty so I spruced up my pencil holder

this time I made a little notebook from scratch using some of my favorite printed acetate paper from paper source :3

just like tylercat did yesterday, I found a sweet tutorial at design*sponge. It's a cute little notepad made out of an old matchbook!



I used a piece of an old calendar for the outside covering thingy.

For my boss, since she has show poodles. Of course, her recent puppy (no longer a puppy) comes in and is a totally spoiled brat, so the 'cuteness' level has dipped, as of late.

DC wasn't walloped nearly so thoroughly, but I did get another day off from work as a result. :3
