OKAY so binsybaby is having a t-shirt contest with the entry being a drawing of an undesirable person on a unicorn. OBVIOUSLY SCRAPPY DOO IS THE WORST THING EVER and since I love drawing horrifying unicorn things...

ocicatsy beat me by 15! She had 35 Benedict faces yesterday, all I could muster up tonight on my (I guess smaller) sketchbook was 20!

I couldn't draw him angry without adding punchy fists.

I did this in one hour! It was a CHALLENGE.



The last set of panels are my favorite though they're the most sketchy. They came out very like Kate Beaton (beatonna)!

oops, I meant to post this last night. I was inspired by smartlaine and ocicatsy 's "draw a comic before dinner" thing so I decided to try it! It's harder than it looks you guys. I did learn a lot though.





EDIT: oh and that second panel is super-awkward b/c I don't have a name for that character yet, suggestions welcome!

Last week, SOMEONE was drawing Animorphs related stuff, and since I wasn't into Animorphs...

I did the wallpaper tiling project thing too! I kind of failed at lining everything up though D: I made it yellow because of this creepy story I read in high school about a lady who gets locked up in a room with yellow wallpaper and it drives her BATSHIT CRAZY.

it's true! I have been working on these pants for some time now. Sadly, the project has hit a speed bump, but more on that later...

I know ocicatsy did a tiled pattern, and I wanted to try it...I didn't quite tape it together that well (did it at work hurhur) and I lost steam after finishing the central bike. Anyway, my sister won't know or care! HA!

today I tried to draw tylercat but I ended up drawing a pirate lass. Or her as a pirate lass, I suppose?

Had found a good head tutorial and took the 'shape challenge' part and modified it a little (mostly b/c I was at work and couldn't remember that it was supposed to be a 3-quarters thing); most of these are profiles, and one's a body! Basically, you draw a really loose shape without thinking about it, and then you were supposed to t urn it into a face. I highlighted the original shape in the red, so you can see what I was dealing with. :)
