Trying out the other marker that tylercat gave me, and I enjoy it quite a bit even if it's not a brushpen. The thick+thin interplay is very easy to utilize with it.

Man, I loved Darkstalkers. Have a weird Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei with her multitude of weapons and crazy claw hands.

sketch for a painting, maybe. Had an epiphany while drawing this: Images are powerful. And, I can draw anything I want. And, I can continue to change that drawing for eternity and the meaning will continue to change. Possibilities are endless!

I should profess my love of cooking, and how recently, I've felt more compelled than ever to do a bunch of baking and cooking.

Baking tends to take precedence, as my workweek is too busy to really put more than basic effort into making dinner (unless it's quesadilla night, in which case I go batshit and make delicious delicious quesadillas at the expense of my time. this generally happens on a Friday night for obvious reasons). Cooking is art+science, and I enjoy feeling like a mad scientist as I put a few drops of vanilla here and a pinch of salt there.

Anyway, cooking is inspiring. Here, have someone making a cake. Oh, and look, I'm still practicing putting backgrounds in my pieces. I know she has beefy arm syndrome©, but that's 'coz she's...that's a heavy bowl, you guys.

If no one's been really paying attention (and I can't blame ya), this is more of my progression into 'exaggerated angles'. I'm trying to loosen up to get more 'action' in my poses.

Continuing on in Georgette week...building up her backstory a little; we already knew she was a merc and by default attacks guys with a rapier. Well, when she isn't snapping necks and using kung fu tactics.
