I hope you guys aren't tired of fish drawings yet! I did this at the painting night we had at work tonight. whoo speed acrylic painting.
croquet sign, I like how it came out!
KRISTA PRESENTS! Stenciled with the freezer paper trick, which is AWESOME for doing any stencils on shirts. Just iron it on, and creates a great seal to paint over. and a banner:
This might be for someone who reads aye aye, so if your name begins with 'J' and ends with 'essi B', do not click behind the cut plz. ( PROCEED OTHERWISE )
hehe here's two. The first one is oil, a mix of from life and from previous drawings, still unfinished. The second is a collage in paper colored with acrylic, from life. i would say i still owe a few more....maybe it is time for a megapost?
I'm helping update for morgainlefay since she visited me and much food was consumed and good times were had by all. SO HERE'S THIS AWESOME VALENTINE SHE GAVE TO MEEEE~! Front: Back: Inside--(Touga from Revolutionary Girl Utena) AND a continuation of that WIP I posted a while back--cleaned up, digitally inked, need to add colors (and a little bit more, oops, got a small back thar)
In case no one knew, I am a complete and utter geek. This is a miniature for my D&D character Mereth. She's a sorcerer who specializes in making huge explosions and setting fire to whatever happens to be on hand. In the game I envision her in a gypsy kind of outfit (so nothing really like what this chick's wearing, but dammit, the model was hot.) more dorkiness ( behind the cut )
Back in November when I was going through old toys to give some to the thrift shop, pre-move, I had a great idea for a Christmas present for KKO... KKO found the slice of cake for Florian-doll. ( more )
This isn't about cake either. SIgh...maybe tomorrow. I made this during last semester. Me carrying more things under my arms. A hobbyhorse and a masonite slab or palette.
OH GOOD GOD CHRISTMAS ARTS ARE EATING UP MY FREE TIME. Tonight i was like "Okay, I'll just add a few more bits to some (other) ornaments in 30 minutes" and it wasn't until about TWO HOURS LATER that I realized what time had passed. D: TAKE MY ROBOT ORNAMENT, THE FIRST ONE I PAINTED (hence the fact it's upside-down. well, it'll hang upside-down. My fault.) ( cut for more robots )
this has changed a lot | |
Planned to just be shapes and colors, but my friend says he sees a monkey in a pink hat.
going back to something more realistic from life after painting from my imagination for a while. --ended up getting that very serious look on my face . . . you know, the CONCENTRATION FACE.
more acrylic swirlies! 23.5"x23.5"
The milk at save-a-lot appears to have been pooped on by birds. I think this was the subconscious inspiration for some of the imagery in this painting.
Heres a painting I'm working on. I'm going back to acrylics for a while, and it feels so good! Its about 24 inches square, on board, and I made a wood frame for it so it is a couple of inches deepset.
