I got tired of my old computer stand this weekend and made a ghetto one out of cardboard and old strips of decorative paper: ( more )

it's true! I have been working on these pants for some time now. Sadly, the project has hit a speed bump, but more on that later... sorry for the sexy pose LOL it was the best picture I got! ( more here )

When I wasn't making signs and tees this week, I was making cards! This is for father's day, posted early, but eh I don't think my dad checks this thing. I couldn't get a clear scan of the back because of the ribbons D: sorry!

The other side! | |

Have some filler! I'll post the other side Monday. This sketchbook now lives in VA. :)
I made more sushi this weekend the little ones have pancake in them and the big ones have fish and basil!
Here is the yard. Note the depth of snow on that table. I made an elephant. A cat picture, since after all the internet was invented for sharing pictures of cats. She's a little grumpy. Cabin fever, I think.
did some paper snowflakes at smartlaine's place. one wins, one fails. can you guess which is which??? (hint: it's pretty obvious)
Kendra and I made a jack-o-lantern portrait of Boots.
I made a palindrome of the word "revolver" by overlapping the O and L and, um, pretending the L is symmetrical. It was something to do at work, anyway. OH and I put it on my water bottle because it's a palindrome and it reads the same whether you look at it straight on or through the transparant side of the water bottle. HURR GET IT? ( click for more angles and the sketch )

I BET YOU'D LIKE YOUR OWN CUPCAKE ARMY HERE COMES THE FROSTING BRIGADE raspberry slightly chocolatey chocolate chip-surprise center cupcakes with chocolate sour cream frosting

D'oh, no longer a Sculpey virgin. Trying to make my Nurse character. So far, have a torso and a head. I tried making legs today, but grew frustrated.

I forgot I had these lying around! This is what I was doodling with that city thing last week: for me, anything with mirrors = instant win I wanted to do a bigger one of these a put it on a wall somewhere
I didn't do much drawing or other art today, but I did re-sew a t-shirt to make it fit me better. Used this tutorial. I've done it a few times now.
In case no one knew, I am a complete and utter geek. This is a miniature for my D&D character Mereth. She's a sorcerer who specializes in making huge explosions and setting fire to whatever happens to be on hand. In the game I envision her in a gypsy kind of outfit (so nothing really like what this chick's wearing, but dammit, the model was hot.) more dorkiness ( behind the cut )
I've done a ton of work on the silk project this week, but you wouldn't know it because I had to start over :( Better to start over and have it be awesome than to keep going and make a sucky project I guess. So have some older images: used that for a t-shirt logo my dad made took this a long time ago. It's a reversible teapot, kind of. Two spouts and two handles and two openings, but only one lid. Er. Well, it wasn't supposed to work anyway.
Have I posted her before? Today I slopped some colors on to test out palettes. ( Other combinations )

February is going to be a good month. It feels...pink. uhhh dada-ist self portrait project from ceramics. i wrote adjectives and nouns on paper scrap and pulled these two out of a hat: farsighted fungus. and this sort of evolved from that. it is sort of a self portrait. figure scratching its back. 25" tall

Back in November when I was going through old toys to give some to the thrift shop, pre-move, I had a great idea for a Christmas present for KKO... KKO found the slice of cake for Florian-doll. ( more )
