Matt, currently sporting a dog tail and ears, sat on the counter, near the coffee pot, in the kitchen. He was, as he was almost always doing when in the kitchen, sipping from a mug of coffee and idly watching over the room. Mostly out of lack of anything better to do and unwillingness to lock himself away in his tent, at least for awhile.

Nel wasn't quite sure why the room had decided snow was a good idea, but for once she didn't particularly mind it's antics.  Her runes offered some measure of warmth, though for whatever reason she could only cast a spell that sent a boulder of snow crashing towards the target.  Strangely enough that was currently serving her well.  Nel was constructing a snow fort; to any claims of childishness Nel held that protection was preferable to trying to build a snowman only to have some evil-doer walk past and decide to ruin everything.

So far the thing was gigantic, towering a good ten feet above her head and spread about three meters long.  Nel set about reinforcing it, before the fort did something like crumble and crush her into the snow bank.
