As you may or may not know, I have a Gulcasa (maryuu) at neo_rpg, which is going to be holding a canon Fourth Wall event starting December 3. Would anyone be interested in participating?

First, a caveat: neo_rpg is very dark and violent, and the whole point of the event is for guest characters (meaning you) to come trying to convince people at Neo that they don't belong there and their fake memories are, indeed, quite fake. The event is going to last two weeks and will end rather bloodily; for more information, please see here.

Anyhow, I'm probably going to bring immortalify along as canon!Nessiah, but would anyone else be interested? We're looking for any character who's alive at the beginning of Chapter 8 in Yggdra Union, which holds for... just about everybody we have here, orz. Since maryuu is a canon Gulcasa, it would probably be best for anyone who wants to participate to act as though they're from Yggdra Union canon themselves (NOT as Apocrypha people, although that's allowed)... right before the Royal Army's attack on the Arc of Triumph (meaning Kylier is also still alive and all, but Emilia isn't).

If people have homeless Yggdra Union journals floating around, feel free to send them there, too. :''D; If you're sadistic and evil enough, that is.

Erm, not that I am *too* impatient, since I have, like, a lot of things to do that can keep me occupied while I wait for your post, Ros-kun, but... Others may be waiting. After all, it's been 5 days since Feral put that post about us having to wrap up the Halloween party, and I'm pretty sure we're the only ones remaining to finish.

First, thanks to everyone for making this year's Halloween event our longest thread ever, and having so much fun with it. Keep rocking, guys.

That said, though, we should probably try to put a wrap on the threads there (yes, I know my own slow tags are part of the problem). There are at least three that need to be wrapped up (Rosary and Monica, Nietzsche and Monica, Roswell and Sage), and nobody's talked to Kylier yet--idk, I'll go bother her with Ursula or something if there are no takers.

But yeah, we need to finish that up so that we can get back to spamming the main comm--we do have some things waiting on Fia's plot, and new people could always use some interaction!

Characters who are already finished with their Halloween threads can post away, but those who are still doing stuff should... try not to get too overzealous, in case something happens during the event that'll affect them later on.

Cierra: Honestly, it'd put me at least at ease if some charitable soul was willing to pick Cierra up and try to repair some of the damage Stormy did. If there's any brave player out there who's willing to check her backlog, come up with a really good excuse for her disappearance, and rebuild her relationships, we'll welcome them with open arms.

So, I wanted to plan a bigger event for Halloween, but due to various dumb things it doesn't look like I've got the time to really set one up this year.

Our Samhain event this year will, therefore, be a costume banquet. The school's ordinary food is fine, but this year we've got a real high-course feast, and a dance. If your character doesn't come in costume/cosplay, they're expected to be wearing formal clothes. Ursula'll have the event post up on the thirty-first. Attendance, while not mandatory, is strongly suggested.

Okay, I saw in the logs of the characters how there are some words between parenthesis that link to the log, while at the same time, cutting it so that nothing but the preliminary words containing the people involved, the content and the warnings are visible unless the log is entered and looked at in depth.

The question, obviously, is... How can I do that?

Alright, quick note, I was trying to change a few icon settings for Seth and LJ ate my keywords and I had to replace them from memory. I think they're all right now, but if anything's displaying wrongly in the backlog, that's what happened; let me know and I'll try to fix it.

Well, you guys know already that I have joined yesterday, with the Red Sage, no less. I wanted to comment on something I have noticed when I was lurking our TVTropes page again...

Mostly, tropes concerning the Red Sage. No no, I'm not gonna say anything negative about there, specially since they are all, except one, more or less appliable (From the 10 or so lines I've had of interaction already.)

Of course, Sage is kind of a Pesci, mainly because, when Kylier talked to her, she thought the greenheaded Griffon rider was gonna laugh at her for being completely lost. And there would probably be some other instances in which her buttons would be pressed...

She's obviously a token loli. I mean, she's 14! In a school that right now has a majoritary cast of above 18!

She's also getting acquainted to Kylier quite fast, that I can't deny, so the oneesama fits creepily well. Same with the not so different, since they are both the kind of persons with a background that would make them easily shunnable.

But what leaves me the most completely, positively, motha-sucking awed is... Large Ham! Of all tropes, LARGE HAM! Like, I'm seriously awed at your capabilities to predict the future, because, surprisingly enough, I was indeed gonna hunt down for any chance to Ham that was plausible, no matter how small it was.

I'm a lover of overacting! It helps me unload my accumulated adrenaline! So, even thought I'll definitely play more calmly when the context asks of it, I would like to ask of you that, if you have some kind of situation that would be improved by someone appearing and yelling "DID SOMEONE JUST ORDER A LARGE HAM?", keep me in mind! I simply LOVE being fed! :D

Now, seriously, Phoenix, either I'm like an open book, or you're the most awesome person in the universe, for I really haven't noticed any hamming in my 10 or so posts... Then again, sometimes I forget I am overacting. <.< How come did you notice it?

A few brief announcements here!

1. Plots
Fia's plot is sliding towards its final stages, so make sure you go poke her when she's around if you wanna be involved. It's not going to be a big and flashy ending, so it shouldn't disrupt the activities of people who have their own business to take care of.

Now that Ledah and Ein have met, their plot will get started once the next leg of Nessiah's is going--and I'm planning for that (just a brief event) to happen once Fia's is done.

Also, yeah. The next stage of Nessiah's plot is coming sometime soon; this will be flashy and have some effect or other on the school as a whole. If you're curious, check out Ursula's latest thread and the log that'll follow it!

2. Halloween 2009 event
Ursula will make another announcement about it eventually, but this year's Halloween event is going to be an exhibition ball. "Exhibition" as in a grand showing-off of the school to some guests.

Who are these guests? RP accounts from outer space other canons!

Basically it'll go something like this: Each player may either invite one friend to bring one of their RP characters (any canon not Dept. Heaven) to the event thread, or bring one character from another canon that they themselves play.

For instance, I'll probably bring my Maria (happyspells, from Umineko no Naku koro ni) into the thread. I won't be allowed to bring any other characters from other canons, nor will I be able to invite a friend.

I'll make a more coherent rules-post about this sometime later.

3. New cast members
Rejoice, for we've acquired something quite rare indeed for our RP: a demon loli!

No, not Etna. I refer to the Red Sage, of Riviera! Her journal's at ludicrousgibs, and she's played by our somewhat hasty new mun, sachikokotobuki. Sage-mun is an LJ newb, so if you see Sage having trouble with formatting or HTML or whatever, lend a helping hand. /o/

I've been participating in roleplaying games since more than 5 years, and you could say that I'm a lover for these kind of things. I have become aware of the existence of this RP today, when I was wandering through TV Tropes and stumbled by chance on the page dedicated to it. Yes, guys. For those who didn't know it already know it, know that this RP is considered to be awesome enough to have its own TV Tropes page. And then I read the page, and it said that you are willing to welcome more people into the already quite large cast, so long as they are good roleplayers.

So I told myself: "An RP that is so awesome that it has its own page at TV Tropes is NOT something I can miss!" So, yeah, I have a confession to make. I not only noticed of the existence of this place today. I also started my own Livejournal account today, just for joining this and having some quality time with fellow RPers, and perhaps boast a bit about it in my new, shiny Internet Journal. XD
