So I have all these roleplaying books which I would like to get rid of. I'd prefer to sell them. Does anyone have ideas on the most successful way of doing this? I ahve some really old ones, but the pride of my collection is my extensive set of Changeling: The Dreaming books.
I looked on ebay and didn't really see any role-playing books there, so I can't work out if it's a good place to try and sell them or not.
Any ideas? Anybody interested?

We will also have local Australian boardgame designers, Ratkins Games, running free demonstration games all day on Monday 2 October.

I hope this is OK, posting this here. Still, I'm not tryign to COMPETE with AoA, so I guess it's OK... Right?
Imagine a universe in which the imperialist empires of the 1930s survived beyond the Second World War.
Then imagine they took their rivalries to the stars!
That's right, it's the Cold War... IN SPACE!
Or, on a more serious note:

This game will be an attempt to create a long-running freeform campaign, but also, ultimately, a collaborative roleplaying setting.
There will be (probably irregular) freeforms, for 15-30 players, beginning with the game EVE OF DESTRUCTION, dealing with the events surrounding an attempted Soviet takeover of the German planet Neuostland in the Chimera system.
There is also an online element in the form of a wiki. Players will be encouraged to add content to this wiki, about themselves, their faction, and the as yet blank slate of galactic history between 1942 and 2367. In this way, the setting will grow and expand, and more importantly, players will be able to direct the course of future games.
So, go along to the website, check it out, and if you'd like to, sign up for one of the characters listed for the first game.
Or, think up your own character concept, and let the designers know, and we'll slot you into the story.
Email ACW at acolderwar (at) gmail (dot) com. What are you waiting for? The universe is within your grasp, and we're on the eve of destruction.

Tavern Owner: What... you’re not blind?
Zatôichi: Not at all.
Tavern owner: Then why did you pretend to be blind?
Zatôichi: Because the blind... they sense people better.
On the 2nd of January 2005 (Fire: Imagine), Michael’s eyes were destroyed by an invisible, supernatural force and then healed... but not as they were. Rather than using his restored vision, Michael kept the blindfold that he’d briefly needed to conceal his shattered eyes and lived as a blind man. He also allowed others to believe that he was blind... all except a few.
But on the 3rd of December (Secret World), he stood in the dark and realised that if he didn’t need to see... nor did he need to be blind. Everything finally made sense. He removed his blindfold and gave it away, to a friend who had once been his enemy.
•
There was a lot more to Secret World for me than just that, of course. Poor Rhiannon had to listen to a whole bunch of philosophical musings! :D I felt that I’d experienced a journey with that character, one that was mostly internal (because his concerns were of little interest to most nephilim) but couldn’t have happened without some of the other characters in the campaign – primarily Francesca and Antonio, and a little from Arjun, Juliana, Portia, Alena and Aleksi.
Over six months later, and I still feel like I’m finished with Michael... at least for awhile. I don’t know what that means for playing in AoA when it inevitably resumes. Maybe I need a new character, or maybe I should just stick to historical sessions for awhile. But I’m certain that I don’t want to detract from the sense of completion that I felt by involving him in political machinations and power plays just for the sake of being in a session.
There may be a good time for me to Michael again.
But not, I think, this year.
Zatôichi: Even with my eyes wide open I can’t see a thing.

Hi Gang
I just had a great time doing some theatre sports sorry I mean Mission Improv. Got to tread lightly around those copyright laws. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I also picked up some fabulous guidelines on the games and how to run a session.
Ahhh so the wise reader has spotted where this is going...
Craig has said he would be happy to host a session at his place and I would be happy to ref. I was thinking in the spring when we can use that big back yard.
The question is would we get much interest. Probably need about 12 players minimum. So who's interested?
