1. Okay, so you're not going to believe me (because it seems I just can't make my mind up), but the internet is actually fixed now! For reals! I'm at my mums house (where the problem was) on my computer posting this at this very moment, that's just how for reals this is :P

can I just take this moment to say how much I love you guys? I was scrolling through my list of people who have friended me and I had a really hard time deciding who I wanted to know shipping information of. Other than the fairly major lack of comments from most of you, I'm incredibly happy :D

5. Wow, I just googled 'america's next top model' using the 'large images' filter and on the very first page there is not one, but TWO of my wallpapers! WHA? Randomness!
6. There's this thing that happens in Adelaide once a year, we call it The Show. It's basically a carnival/fete-ey thing that comes into town a block away from dads house. Finding a park in a 10 block radius from there is IMPOSSIBLE and everybody's always walking around with bags full of lollies wearing clown wigs, it's hilarious. Anyway, it's on right now and it will continue to be on for a week. I love just sitting outside because everybody looks so crazy and you can hear screams from the people on the rides easily, even when I'm going to sleep and the window's open :P Our family isn't going this year, for the first time since I was about 2, because apparently Nathan and I "have grown up and don't need to go anymore", whatever that's supposed to mean :(
7. For those of you outside of Australia, there's a famous (and hilarious) comedy radio/tv duo called Hamish and Andy. I've listened to their radio podcasts since the 31st of August last year and you would not believe who I heard on the 20th of August this year! MY COUSIN! He was on a segment called 'Blast from the Past' where they call somebody up randomly and try and convince them that they're from their past. I'm usually bored to tears by it, because it plays out the exact same way every time, but I did prick up my ears when the person they were calling said that they were from Launceston, Tasmania, where my cousin lives. And then my ears were even further pricked when the person said that they were MID-FLYING LESSON! Now there is no way that there are two people in Launceston who are learning to fly a plane, so I rewound my mp3 and low and behold it was my cousin. What randomness! There are... what? 22 million people in Australia? And he's the one who happened to be called? What's even more coincidental was that somebody who knows him happened to listen to their podcast because I don't think they even get the radio show over there and I don't think my cousins have ever even tried to use the internet before.
8. Has anybody heard of 'liquid resizing' before? It's this cool resizing thing that looks really interesting. It looks like it's going to be a plug-in to Photoshop or something, I don't think it's out yet. I'm fairly sure I found a demo for it, but it didn't work very well... anyway, go youtube it, because there are a few very cool youtube videos about it and I guarantee that all of my arting friends (a.k.a. all of you) will be very interested.

I had a nightmare last night that I missed the first episode of ANTM cycle 11 :P It sounds rediculous, but it was really horrifying at the time.
Oh, and not only that, but as I was watching the second episode, Elina wasn't in it! That would've meant she was elimenated first! NOOO!!
Also, I was watching previews that have been posted at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) topmodel and I've decided that I like Isis now, too. Has anybody seen the clip when the girls are harassing her before/after her photoshoot? That was so mean and I'm delighted that she didn't retalliate. <3
And did you hear that Analeigh was (almost?) sold to the prince of Saudi Arabia? Weird... |

1. the internet isn't fixed. Or... it was and it's broken again? *sigh* I'm not sure, but it's killing me!! I need to be able to reply and tell you all my opinions on stuff :(
2. Hello to liquid_garnet who just friended me. Go check out her icons, because they're AWESOME. The way she uses light splodges makes everything so smooth and silky :D
I can't believe between the time that it takes me to post, somebody new has friended me. It's so awesome and confusing. :D

4. This weird thing has been happening lately, like everything that's going on now has happened before. It's like somebody has been scripting my life, for my whole life and they've finally run out of new story ideas, so they're just stealing ideas from previous seasons.
Like, for example, I had this medical thing a while back. It's a bit complex, incredibly embarassing and also very boring so I won't tell you anything about it, but I had to go into hospital about a year ago because of it. And... it's popped up again. Another example is that I used to talk to somebody a while back and now they've popped back into my life again. Another is that I'm watching old episodes of Gossip Girl and Chuck, but that's much less coincidental, because I'm psyching myself up for their new seasons.
There are other things, but anyway, I just figured I'd explain why I was 'nostalgic' last post.
5. I want someone to have a try at imitating my style for the challenge at icon_crack, but I don't think I'm popular enough for that yet :( I'm shocked more people haven't done prettybutt

it looks like my internet is running properly again, so you can probably expect to get more comments from me :D
Also, for the people who talk to me on MSN (which should be all of you, because I get bored :( ) I'm once again going to be online 24 hours a day :D
The bad news on the other hand is that it doesn't look my computer is fixed and is still liable to shut itself down spontaneously. |

1. Okay, so I'm back from Bali, yay! I'll post more about that later because I've got about 700 pictures I need to upload and show to you and also what seemed like about a months worth of activity that I need to describe in great detail. So, yeah, more on that later.
2. Hello to bohema who (from what I can tell) is one of the two brilliant people from over at sinful_caesar. Go check them out if you love HQ pictures, because they've got them coming out of their ears. Also they comment on the pictures they're posting and that's usually a bit of fun :)
Oh, and can I just say what a buzz it is when I go and check my e-mail and somebody new has friended me. I think you should all go and de-friend and re-friend me right now so I can experience that buzz all over again :D
3. the icon crit meme
Go concrit me, I can definitely take it. I also want to take it, because I've taken a little break from iconning and I think my last few icons have been a little rubbish.
4. I've made another community (yes, ANOTHER) that will probably never make it off of the ground. It's do_a_meme and the premise is that somebody will post with a question (or several questions if they want) by creating a post and people will answer it as a reply. It's incredibly simple, really. I also think it could be a lot of fun, because it would be less stressful than answering a million questions about yourself all at once, instead you answer them slowly as they pop up in your flist. Yay :D
Now all I need is for harbourlight or somebody equally as coding-inclined to design me a spiffy layout. *glares at harbourlight*
