| This is a community for fanworks relating to the GazettE. There are plenty of communities on LiveJournal for this very purpose already, and we realise this, but there's one problem - they're riddled with shoddy work. Call us elitists, haters, cunts...we don't care. Originally, we wanted to create this community for friends etc. but there are probably other people out there who agree with us: We're sick and tired of reading ten stories a day in which Ruki acts like a 14 year old girl and cuts himself because he ran out of toilet paper/can't get laid. Uruha is full of personality, why do so many people reduce him to a talking pair of booty shorts? We know there's good quality, inspired fanfiction out there - we just don't like sifting through the crap to find it. The same goes for art - if you're looking to post a misshapen ball with a smiley face you scrawled on your maths homework in under 30 seconds and claim it's a picture of Kai, please go elsewhere. The community is open for all to join and read - we welcome new writers who want to learn by reading the fiction of those with more experience under their belts, or those who simply share our mindset and want to see more quality work that people have put time and thought into. If you wish to gain posting access, please fill out this form. We're not as cold as we sound. If you know you work hard on your fiction or art, please apply - Seeing work with a bit of spirit makes us happy! |
| RULES/REGULATIONS |
| 1. Any fiction not related to the GazettE shouldn't be posted here. Crossover fiction is fine, but GazettE should be the main focus. 2. Slash, het, gen - it's all good. Both AU and Non-AU are permitted, but please try to avoid making Uruha a fruity hula dancer in every fiction. 3. If you want to advertise something in the comm please speak to the mods first. 4. We're all bitches in here (probably), but don't be a rude asshole. Con-crit is awesome, flames are not. 5. Trolls will be banned after we've finished laughing at you and pelting you with e-turds or something. 6. Use LJ-cut plz. If you don't know what that is lrn2lj and visit the FAQ. 7. Fake-cut to your own LJ is cool, but don't be a douche and lock the post so that everyone not on your friends list are unable to access it. You can lock your post to the community however. 8. If you have any issues with a member solve it in private or take it up with a mod. We do not want in-comm drama. 9. If you don't like this comm and/or the mods then get over it and stay away. No one's forcing you to look at it anyway. 10. This isn't high school English class and we're not just looking for reasons to shoot you down - if English isn't your first language we're not going to chew you up for the odd spelling/grammar error here and there if you're writing good fiction - just keep it legible, please. |
