As forecast, there's been more rain at Spa.
Today's practice session was declared wet; fastest was Heidfeld (1:47.876) followed by Kovalainen and Alonso. (Compared to Friday's practice sessions, which had Massa (1:47.284) fastest in the first practice session and Alonso (1:48.454) in the second.)

Spa is one of my favourite circuits - Silverstone is #1 (partly because I've driven it too!) but Spa is right up there, even though it's been simplified (to make it "safer" apparently).
There's rain forecast for this weekend, but right now it's 17°C and dry; 80% humidity; 3.1m/s wind.

Since the previous update, I went to the Flickr meetup, Kerri and I went to the beer festival, went to England, and last weekend there was a party with a lot of the badminton crowd present.
Note: these are just a few of the photos I took - there are lots more in the respective albums (i.e. follow the link in the text above the photos) and you can find all my photos (well, at least the last year's photos) at Flickr.
That's me finally up to date (for now!) so now I want to dig through some old (pre-digital SLR) photos and upload them.

After yesterday's qualifying, the provisional grid was: FM, LH, RK, KR, HK, SV, JT, NH, NR, SB; KN, FA, TG, MW, NP; JB, DC, GF, RB, AS. The question I posed at the end of qualifying was "will TG be penalised for the NH incident in Q1?" Well, it appears not, so the grid is unchaged.
Although the general Valencia forecast is for light showers, the teams' forecasts expect it won't rain until after the race. Current conditions: air temperature 29°C, track 44°C, wind 2.3m/s, humidity 66%
Can LH pass FM off the line, paying him back for Hungary?
FIA timing sheet clears and we're 5mins away from the start of the race.
