its been about a month since my last shampoo.
i work at a salon in louisiana and the owner says i have to shampoo at least once a week and keep my color bright...
if i shampoo my bangs at least once every 2 weeks she is totaly clueless

Random livejournal searches and i come up with this.
You guys fucking own.
Im so glad there are gorgeous ladies out there who dont wash their hair.
My record so far is 2 weeks.
Not because of me but because of my mom/bf.
They think its completely disgusting and smelly.
I totally understand them but hell i think it looks so much better without being washed.
The grease gives it a nice shine [lol], it gets weighed down, styles better, and saves me a fucking hour from straightening it.
I go dirty cause i have naturally curly locks and have hated them since childhood.
Now about everyweek or so i sit in front of the mirror with a hot iron and burn my hair away.
So umm yeah.
Oh yeah one more thing this has proably been asked a million times but what do you use to keep the smell/itchyness down?
Those are my number one killers.

I haven't washed my hair in over a year. I don't like the chemicals in shampoo. I use baking soda when it gets too oily (about once a month) and when it gets too dry I use natural tea tree soap.
I did the no-poo method for awhile but my hair got real sticky from the apple cider vinegar so I live by baking soda since it has a billion other great uses other than my hair.

My hair hates being washed as much as I hate washing it. (It literally is a workout.)
But I also hate the itchiness and greasiness in the long run.

So I was wondering..is there any type of spray or such ( I recently got the Suave Kids detangler spray. Ooo it smells yummy..)that refreshens the hair and makes it non...greasy looking or [insert anything else here]?
(water doesn't go good with my hair, either)

Hey I'm new and I pretty much wash my hair maybe once a week. I'd go more if it weren't for the damn knot that forms in the back of my head and my cowlick that parts my hair in a terrible place. Any advice about how to get my hair not to knot. I have to condition it like crazy I hate it. My hair is really boring right now cuz I'm waiting til after I graduate to get my dreads so when my hair gets better after I dye it or when I get the dreads I'll post some. Thanks for the advice!

I am the queen of dirty hair. I go about a week and a half to a month without shampoo. My hair is the best when its knotty and clings together. Its sort of curly, knotty, dreadsy..all into one. My hair doesnt look that good when I wash it, because shampoo has never been fair to thick curls.

Stopped shampooing a few months ago. And it's been quite a few weeks since my hair's last wash. Excuse the slouch and the expression. I'm hardly ever serious in my pictures so it felt silly.
