I've been meaning to ask this. I finished chapter 12 of Harry Potter SS, The Mirror of Erised a while ago and I have a question. It's not trivia or anything like that but just an oppinion question. Here it is:

What does Dumbledore really see when he looks into the mirror?

I think he sees something along the lines of himself, but less powerful and important, and having a family of his own and maybe leading a more normal life.

What do you think?

maybe he would see himself with a family, i just dont think he craves normality

i've always wanted to no what he see's, i hope we find out in book seven.

however...

in my little dream would, he would see kloves hung, drawn and quartered for his outrageous crimes to canon

I think he actually does see socks. It seems like a very 'Dumbledore' thing to see.
