Blue Furs Need Room Badly! (Insert Quarters for Additional Health)
Hey all,

So our roommate who had reserved our room at the Westin (Takala the Zeeb for those few who don't know him) had to back out of AC kinda last minute this year, leave a few of us roomless. Here's where the begging starts...

Does anyone out there have space for three clean, considerate, drama and drug-free furs (2 Female, 1 Male)? Pretty please? We'll take whatever floor space is available and of course will be able to throw you some money on the room, as well as generally brightening up the place with our awesomeness. We'd really be loathe to have to split up into separate rooms and would prefer a spot in the Westin if at all possible, though the overflow hotels are acceptable, so long as they're not too far of a hike away.

Rack up some good karma today by helping us out!

Hey Ramen ^_^
I can't spot you guys any space as the room I'm staying in is under someone else's name... but I can make a minor sudgestion.
You might want to try getting on the waiting list for canceled rooms at the westin. I don't know how many reservations have been canceled or how many people are already on the waiting list, but it is at least one possibility to get one.

Also, you could try talking with Anec. He said he and his roomie are looking for 2 or so furs to share a room, and mentioned he might still have a room at the Omni.

Did Takala already cancel the room? you might be able to take over the reservation if it hasn't been canceled yet.

A) I believe so - the non-refundable deposit was due like, two fridays ago if I'm not mistaken and B) even if he hadn't, we don't have the money on hand at the moment to take it over

If there are 3 of you, might as well just book a room. Splitting it 3 ways isn't that much different then 4.

Originally there were going to be six of us in the room - three of us still need space. Not quite the same.

Also, if we're booking our own room, we'd want the Westin, which is most likely not an option now, outside of getting on the waiting list. Plus it'd cost us a lot more to split a room between three people rather than sharing costs with an already established room. Money IS a big factor here...

Why do you assume that reserving a room at the Westin is most likely not an option now??? I just got one the other night. As was predicted, LOTS of furs canceled their rooms just before the 1 night deposit deadline hit. Funny how that fact hasn't received much attention nor notice... It would probably be easier for you to reserve your own room and then try to squeeze in a few more furs to split the costs than to try to squeeze 3 of you into someone else's room.
