So i've been searching about, trying to see if i could find any pics of me in suit, and I cant.

So I'm wondering, if any of you have pics of my suit. I was the spandex-clad, egyptian black kitty.

Currently, Anthrocon's registration and badge pickup takes place in the Westin Hotel. Onsite registration is in the prefunction area outside of the Zoo; badge pickup for pre-registered folks is initially in Allegheny I next door to the Zoo, and badge pickup for Sponsors and Supersponsors is one floor down. After the big Thursday rush everything moves into the lobby outside of the Zoo.

This past year I was taken back by the size of the crowd on the 3rd floor. Chiaroscuro and I started to ponder moving Registration into the Convention Center next year and putting it on the concourse outside of Hall B. That would put it at the top of the escalators coming up from the DLCC West Lobby (and at the bottom of the escalators coming down from the 3rd floor overhead walkway).

ADVANTAGES: All registration activities would be in one area, although there would still be separate lines for sponsors, supersponsors, dealers, etc. The larger area would allow for improved visibility that would let us put up signs that point people to the correct line. The extra vacancy would allow for the possible expansion of the Zoo.

DISADVANTAGES: While the Hall B concourse is not as far away as Hall C, it is still a long walk from the Westin front lobby. In inclement weather, people would need to use the skybridge to get across Penn Avenue, which would mean either climbing the stairs up one flight there or taking the Crawlevators.

Note that splitting registration up would be a logistical nightmare and is out of the question; all registration functions must remain in the same general area.

So, since we're always interested in what would make things better for our attendees, please help us decide:
