moetsukiru@safe-mail.netDISCLAIMER: This community does not endorse or recommend the use of drugs, legal or not, for recreational purposes. By reading the contents of answersondrugs, you agree to not hold the community, livejournal.com or any posters therein liable for any damage to your person you may experience as a side effect of recreational drug use.
All that said, welcome to answersondrugs. Answersondrugs was founded in the beginning of July 2004, after a few friends of the founder went to the hospital thanks to taking too much Coricidin Cough and Cold. (Speaking of which, if you're planning on using dextromethorphan recreationally, make sure it is the only active ingredient in the product you are taking.)
This community is meant to be made up of both current and former drug users, seeking to answer any and all questions about the recreational use of drugs that they can. Anyone may post a question to this community, and there is no IP logging - anything written is as confidential as you want it to be. If you feel uncomfortable using your LJ account, ask anonymously.
Rules:
Do not request drugs or offer to sell them. Any such posts will be deleted.
This is the second most important rule. This community is not for selling or buying drugs, legal or not - this community is only meant to disseminate useful information to drug users, in order to keep both weekend trippers and true psychonauts safe.
Do not request information on how to grow/make your own drugs.
This falls under the same category as requesting drugs or offering to sell them.
"HaY gUyS cAn yuO tEEcH mE hoW to mAke dRugZ l0Lz" will get your post deleted, and you banned from the community.
If you don't know the answer to a question, don't answer, or say you're not sure.
This is the most important rule. The purpose of this community is to make sure that the people we know and love are informed about the drugs they take. If the information given here is erroneous, people can be greatly harmed. For that reason, please, do not guess at the answers to the questions asked.
Do not harass or beleaguer any of the posters.
This is a friendly community. A question about heroin is just as valid as a question about Benadryl - don't flame others for their drug choices. In fact, don't flame anyone here at all. That said, we are open to criticism - the more information out there, the better.
Do not post information about the sale or purchase of drugs.
How you acquired it is only useful in terms of whether you actually believe what you were told you were given is what you have. Don't tell us about websites, phone numbers, or places to go acquire drugs. There are plenty of other places for that.
Do not spam.
We know that there are plenty of other places to talk about drugs, and I'm sure that members of this community will find them on their own without having them posted here. However, posts to this community should be informative in some way - linking to a good Erowid article, talking about a drug experience one had, asking a question about drugs, etc. Do not post links to irrelevant or unrelated things, such as other communities, journals, personal sites, etc. If it doesn't point to something specific that answers or asks a question, it's probably not a good link to post. FYI.
We're looking for a few good posters. Have experience in doing drugs, in pharmacology or medicine, or even just knowledgeable in drug trivia? You can help fight the good fight - education is the key. Join up, and start posting replies. Giving a few minutes a day of honest advice is truly a wonderful feeling.
Waiting on an answer? Check www.erowid.org first! They have the most comprehensive and accurate database of drugs - usage, legality, dosage, effects, and trip reports - you're bound to find something worth reading just by going there.
