On Michigan Ave and Ecourse there is Salvation Army.
Just east of that on Michigan Ave is value world.
There is another small thrift store by the Denny's on Washtenaw, but I forgot what it's called.
It's a hike from Ypsi, but the value world on Stadium by the Fox is huge.
Also, if your looking for stuff other than clothes, U of M property disposition on Baxter road (East off Huron Parkway just south of Plymouth) is awesome. I just got a sweet chair there.

The Salvation Army at Michigan and Ecorse is closed, just to let you know.
Value World is a good stop.

Also, downtown Ypsilanti, at the intersection of Michigan and Washington, there is Mother Fletchers. It's got a lot of stuff - and I think they're having a 50-percent sale right now too.

There is also a small shop on the other side of Michigan - on Washington - to the left of the Elbow Room. Not sure when that's open - but it's been there for years.

Also, Property Disposition is the SHIZZNITT if you are looking for furniture and whatnot.

We got a really nice cabinet from there that I refinished - and it's in my living room. $40. We also got a cool chair for the kitchen, on wheels. $5.

It's stuff that was at the University of Michigan - so it's used - and you find CRAZY stuff there. Like cryogenic chambers and crap.

Yes, you can! I've found a couple soiled gurneys, complete with straps, and several years ago I found a very intimidating metal hospital crib. Perfect for Li'l Kafka or tiger-toddlers.

There is also a "vintage" store called Anthologee in DepotTown right next to DreamLand Theater and Schramm's Deli. Very cool stuff there.

Value World in Ypsi - almost to Ford road east of Dwontown on Mich ave. It's the craziest, least picked over.
