SE Michigan Websites?
So since it would appear that I'm going to be stuck in South East Michigan another year, and I've cut ties with a lot of people I know, I thought I would start looking for new places to frequent. Funny how I've lived here my entire life but no nothing really about the area.

Anyway, does anyone know of any good sites or anything that lists events/local scenes/etc... in the area? I'm from Ypsi, work in Novi, and am not really into the club scene. Coffee houses, movies, concerts- that's more my taste. So if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!

For coffee houses and movies (and a change of pace from ypsi, novi) try Royal Oak. I grew up there and there's plenty of shops and a nice indy theater downtown. There's a lot going on there these days in terms of development ~ some good some yuppie.

Check-check it out.

There's www.greatstufftodo.com. I just was pointed there by a friend and haven't had time to look at it too hard, so I am not sure how comprehensive it is. You can get a weekly newsletter from them--despite the generic name, it's for SE Michigan.
