| About: | This is a community for all people who love the Animorphs, by K. A. Applegate. Animorphs is a juvenile science-fiction book series about kids who morph (transform) into animals to fight Yeerks, the parasitic aliens who are trying to conquer the Earth. The story was also made into a short television series on Nickelodeon, a few video games, and some Transformers action figures. Are you an Animorphs fan? • Do you write Animorphs fan-fiction, or draw fan-art? Do you have an Animorphs fan-site to tell us about? • Are you only curious as to what Animorphs is about, since you've heard of it but not read it? • Do you collect quotes from the books? • Do you make incredibly bad Animorphs jokes? • Did you love the series, then get bored with it and ignore it for a long time, and then rediscover it again recently? • Were there parts in the books that you didn't 'get' and want to discuss or ask people about? • Do you mourn the series's end? • Does it annoy you that your friends think that Animorphs was only a school-children's fad, and tell them that it's so much more? • Do you love the show, or want to complain about how awful the show was? • Do you try to learn how to speak the Hork-Bajir language, or at least its expletives? • Did The Hork-Bajir Chronicles make you cry? • Do you make up evolutionary histories for kafit birds and other things that were only in the book series for atmosphere? Tell us about it. However, be respectful of people who have problems with spelling. • Since Animorphs is juvenile fiction, let's keep our discussions here G-rated. (Read about what that means.) Don't post any dirty stories here, and please tone down on the swear words. Better yet, you could get in the Animorphs spirit by replacing your obscenities with expletives in the language of the Hork-Bajir: ghafrasch nahurrn!
