Less than a week to go. This time next week I will be in France.
So many things to do, so little time to get them done in. *sigh* |

Yes, shameless promotion, but there you have it. I like reading about getting green, being more organically conscious and good the the environment. I know a lot of you do, too. I'm not the best with keeping up with things, and being as green as I could be, but I try. And I have a daily mailer that gives me tips and tricks. There's even one specific to Atlanta that ships out every so often. It's totally email based, and it's also totally running a contest. Yes, a contest, so I won't be giving you a direct link right now to the website so you can sign up. If you're interested in signing up, though, just comment here with your email. I'll send you an email (through them) where you can sign up so that I'll get credit. Each person who signs up in the next 24 hours gets me a ticket into a $200 raffle, so the more, the merrier! ;op Plus, you know, good cause, good information. <3 |

| Japanese rock/pop cds/magazines/signed/tour goods |
[Sep. 5th, 2008|09:15 am] |
I have a very large collection I am selling off. I have many magazines, CDs, posters, tour goods, signed collectibles and more still to post. So if there is anything you might be looking for, just send me an email (ayralan@gmail.com) and I'll let you know if I have anything. I don't have much from any of the newer indies bands, but often I have items from their previous bands.
~I am a band manager of a Japanese rock band, GHOST TOWNE, plus a promoter/etc for several others, so I am Really busy. If my responses are sometimes slow, I apologize. ~All prices are before shipping. ~I accept most types of payment, though PayPal is greatly preferred. ~Because of the shear volume of items, I am not going to post pictures of everything. However, if you need a picture, I can provide one or two. In most cases I already have pics available for them, but it would just take far too long to u/l every one of them and link them to this page. ~Most prices are negotiable, but be reasonable.
I think all the links are correct now. If not, please let me know. I am currently posting pics of the CDs.

| Does it make you sad that you don't know what's happening in my life? |
[Sep. 4th, 2008|10:34 pm] |
For the record, that's the longest Subject line I've ever written in LJ.
I was just thinking about the lack of details in my updates, when I do update. But there's not much to write about when I'm in Texas -.- I wake up, log-on to Animal Crossing Community (ACC) and go on Animal Crossing (AC), and that's the end of me. But today I started to work on some scrapbook pages. I started to dig out my scrapbook stuff last night while chatting with Xt. I found food hidden my closet! What the crap!? I found lots of other stuff that shouldn't be there also. I guess my parents just stuff everything in there when they cleaned up after the robbery incident. I don't like to think about that because it makes me feel violated knowing some creeps were in my house, in my room :( Bah.
I read people's xanga, LJ, and what-not, and I get a sense of what's going on in their lives. So I still feel connected to them, even if I haven't seen them over a year or over 8 years. Then I look at my entries, and they consist of random bursts of ranting or raving of some kind, and some other stuff. It's all disjointed and hard to piece together. I was never the type to express myself, even though I always say I'll try. I dunno. I'll be sincere at least.
Oh yeah, my dad took me to deposit monies today. My bank account is being fed for the first time in over a month :D I think it makes my dad happy when he's teaching me stuff. He was telling me how to write a deposit note, and how to make a deposit. I was thinking "I know how to do these stuff, dad. Why are you telling me?" But he sounds so happy teaching me so I just let him. I think it's part of the Parents Game. They always want to think of their kids as their little babies and always needing guidance. I let my parents treat me like a little kid because it makes them happy.
I went into the kitchen to keep my mum company, but then she made me wash the dishes and she left >=O What a jip.
I also started to watch some anime. I wanted to watch something that's cool, and awesome that'd get me hooked. But instead I found Eureka 7. It's okay. I saw 2 episodes so far. I think I'm gonna give up on it. Back to ACC. |

Dear Wiglaf, I love you forever and ever amen. Love, Abby
How does my lit teacher expect me to write on this? I mean, REALLY? Right now all I'm capable is flapping my hands and crying. I'm pretty sure constructing complex thought much less a complex sentence is pretty much above me right now. |

[Sep. 4th, 2008|07:40 pm] |
Alright, I'm not sure what to do.
This journal's f-list won't get any bigger, I'd rather it shrink. I can't decided to make this either a selling journal with an odd username, or a fandom journal.
Poll #1253861
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: AllSelect a Journal Type Is the current name "LARK AERO" appropriet for...
I can't have both. It doesn't work, because I'm a hardass about fandom and it get's rough. I'm pro-anti, pro-rant, and pro-whateva.
And it's not just fandom, it can be anything else. Sort of like a link. It'll take some time, though.
And I'm starting school and trying to move my life along this year. This journal may not see much action for the time being anyway. |

,000 b. c. with pottery (p.2 and "dogu" (p.3). Due to the Japanse being the first to form such figures, it shows that they have always been a visual culture. ***What initiated theater? What year? What were theater event build up's, and why did theater start? Get these dates and events*** The Japanese have always been very artistic people. The element of art, is what intrigues me in all forms. The earliest artistic scene dates back to 1 600 b.c.- At the formation religion, the work of story and sight serving structre combined art and acting togethr(p.12;28). Heian period 1,150 b.c.¨- The Japanese art really started to take on it’s own form and display of their lives (p.84). Prewar period(Year?): Film and plays represented Japan's current conflics, ranging from tension between those following the modern way and the old-fashioned way of life, how an indivisual feels if they don't confrom to society, and personal emotional disturbances in becoming a child to an adult (p.320). This is relevent because...? (Does Japan's current entertainment reflect their societie's issues today still?) Later in the Prewar Period, the focus of performing arts started to expand horizons with a major influence of romantic stories while keeping in mind Japan's current troubles (p.322). Theater started to change it's performance and subject matter thanks to the composition and idea presentation of film; however, a lot of people disgareed with modernizing the theater plays as they wanted to keep it traditional (p.323). This is relevent in today's culture of theater...because? What makes more money in Japan? Traditional theater acts of modern acts such as concerts and present themed plays compared to historical and religious? What is there more of today? "Yet by modern times kabuki had unchallengeably become the main theatre of Japan.(P.325) " <--explain this and why that is. Do Japanese people value their history and tradinational art more? 1868-1812 (Meiji Era): The change in theater buildings occured, allowing for growth in the perfoming arts to amplify styles and stories(p.326). Today in Japan....? They are still inventiong new and exciting ways to perform in regards to the Meiji arcitextual change. 1960's: Theaters still fought for a newer style of art. Many performed famous western plays and stories(p.325). Is Japan still doing this? Why? Perhaps for more global awareness rather than just Japanese stories? "Today, kabuki enjoys enormous favor and at least one of its actors, Bandò Tamasaburo, is a popular star of the magnitude of a leading rock-and-roll musician.(p.325)" <-it is possible for people to have both tradional and modern style perfoming lives with value for both style. This is relevent because...? In todays Japanese Visual-K theater entertainment, this maybe be why people and rockers have such extreme and unique styles. They are open minded about mixing and matching looks and visual appearcene due to certain people's lack of fear to recognize both sides of life. |

| | sore | ] | Started .hack//Infection last night. I've had it for like three years. XD It's cute so far. Brings back memories of .hack//Sign. I only ever watched sixteen episodes, because that's all that was out on HK DVD at the time I got it. XD Man, that's been a long time ago. I liked .hack//Sign. I just didn't love it, so I never tried to get the rest of it. Now that I'm playing Infection, it makes me want to go back and finish Sign, so I put it on my Netflix list.
For the past two days I've had the worst toothache of my life. Pray for me. |

| Baby... Crib Thing... Bassinet... Recall |
[Sep. 3rd, 2008|12:47 pm] |
I know I have many friends who are expecting, or who already have little munchkins. So when I heard about this, I figured it would be a good idea to share, especially considering how big of Disney fans many of my friends are. Dunno if there's much I can say about the article to make you read, other than the fact that it's about something sold predominantly at Walmart (but I think other places sell it?) and it's a baby bassinet/crib thing... and it has caused two deaths. So yea, recall. Important. Please make sure you don't currently have this item, and that you are aware. That is all.
