This was my favourite community to mod, even if all the ties in my themes got a little frustrating XD I hope you'll all go to anime_melee and keep the love going ♥

Well, I had been waiting to address the community until after voting for this past week had ended but it looks like one of the other mods got a jump on things before I had the chance to say something.

I appreciate all the hard work of my mods as well as you, the participants, who took time to enter your icons. This community has been up and running without interruption for 3 1/2 years! Amazing, isn't it? However, it's time to close it down. As an iconer, I have retired and as I bow out of the graphics "world" on Live Journal, I take my communities with me. I would be sad to see them die out should I turn them over so it's best to go out gracefully, as they say.

You are already aware that calen383 and akaii_hana are fantastic mods. They've been with me for years here and I've worked with them in other communities. Please, do join them over at anime_melee and keep submitting those fantastic icons!

Results for this final week should be up soon.
