Alright, so the randomizers are still pretty much not working. Their new server is...uh...not really there, so I can't make new, functional randomizers. So they'll be there as soon as the site starts cooperating.

But the other point of discussion! I need more back-up moderators. I think 2-3 more will be proper. Now, here are the requirements:
-Must have strong graphics skills
-Must be knowledgeable of anime/manga/video games
-Must be willing to check the hiatus post regularly as well as be available regularly
-Must have very strong grasp of English

Plus, I have lots of time to kill, and I really don't take a lot of hiatuses so you don't really have to worry about me disappearing from time to time. I just really like this comm, I guess. You graphics are excellent (I've used your icons before!), and I'm convinced you'll be active and reliable, since you're one of the originals ♥ And a long long time ago, like back in July, I used to have moments where I got confused and thought you WERE a mod.

Even if I did hit a gray spot back in April and lost any and all motivation I had, I still didn't follow through with quitting like I thought of doing. And since then my will I once had is now back and better then ever. I also check the community every day. And I currently have alot of free time on my hands. However this time I'm giving it a shot, I'd love to help out with stuff. Plus, I want to give something back to the comm for being made of awesome and the fact that I got decks of so many of my favourite characters in the last update has nothing to do with it.

⋞ฺGraphics Experience⋟ฺ: I-I don't like posting my artwork on the internet. I mean like, icons that I make, or banners, or whatever. Just a personal preference. I really enjoy photoshopping though and I've made a variety of icons, wallpapers, and other blah that people enjoy using. ^_^ I've gotten into the habit of making brushes, although I haven't posted them anywhere yet because it takes forever to upload things onto deviantart.
⋞ฺWhy do you want this position⋟ฺ: Kinda embarasssing, but I've kinda wanted to be a mod since I joined. ^^;; That, and I spend like 2+ hours everyday on strictly TCG. I tend to have a ton of spare time, so I browse people's card posts most of the time because I have nothing to do. It's also summer and I have like 2975289745 hours of spare time, which I could use to design the next round of game's banner, reply to answers, etc etc. I've been on TCG since July 1st, and modding looks like fun. Actually, modding is fun. I mod for a couple of forums, and I enjoy it. :D I have never really taken a hiatus because every time I say I'm taking a hiatus, I manage to find internet access somehow or another so I stay updated on all my card blah.

More than anything, I can count on you to keep up with everything. Since we obviously trade quite a bit, I know that you're super-active, and I can't recall any times where you randomly died. And that's what I'm really looking for with this, since we've had so many people up and ditch us, orz.

Although I second [info]chrysa about the graphics, that takes a backseat to reliability, so!

I check everyday and and try to answer all the games, I really love it. I know a lot of mods have been away lately and the mods that are still active have like 6 games each plus other stuff. I want them to have a life and since I have none, I have enough time, right 8D I like to help out. I really like mod stuff, I've already done it on forums and other communities before and.. uuh.. I kinda really want to be a mod :x

Hm... would you mind if had some more regular game mods as well? A lot of the mods are running 5-6 games each which is sort of ridiculous.

I only received the request for back-up moderators, so that's all that seems to be needed. If the moderators running those games would like to delegate some of them off to the backups, that's fine, but two of the moderators approached me asking for more games, so it's not a concern for them, obviously.

Okay, that sounds fair. I think we were mostly thinking that more back-up mods would be nice since the only real back-up we had wasn't available when we needed them and some of the old moderators became inactive. Thus, a lot of the other mods took up tasks like back-ups. However, I think giving some of their current games to other mods would be fine too.

And yes, I know we wanted new games. New games are fun, so.

Once the back-up moderators come into play, they can take over whatever is too much of a burden for the main moderators right now. That's their purpose, after all.

Um, do you have an idea of when you're going to stop accepting applications, about? I know [info]elystia said she wanted to have some input, but I'm also kind of hesitant to vote until you close off the apps.

I'm hoping voting won't too soon since I'll be leaving in a few days. I'll definitely have internet on July 1st, so can you at least keep voting open until then, regardless of when you're closing the apps?

I was actually hoping to get this done with quickly. Most people are going to have their applications in within two or three days, based on how people in this community comment. So I was going to let moderators vote come Friday/Saturday.

--Aha, just popping in, but I wouldn't mind taking on some of the games? I'm on summer break now, so I should be okay for the next few months. Plus I feel bad that my old games contributed to the pile-up. The main reason I gave my games up though is because I had issues with photoshop and I was being too disappointed in my graphics. :(

⋞ฺWhy do you want this position⋟ฺ: I think it'd be fun, even with the carpal tunnel-inducing joys of responding to comments~ I've been in this tcg for about a year and I really enjoy it. The people here are so friendly, it's one of the few I've been able to get into. And well...I have nothing but time on my hands~ Besides...I want to write cute little tcg-relevent stories. ;;

Other than that, I'm just confident in my ability to keep up with games and checking the hiatus/quit page and whatnot. :O;

So the problem with the randomizers is if you save a card say like ramen20 it ends ends up saving a different card?

This has happen to me when I saved some cards for 2 games it ended up saving them as different cards.

No, that's supposed to happen. The randomizers switched over to a new server for creating new ones, and that server doesn't work yet.
