There's a big bag of baking potatoes downstairs in the kitchen. I'm having to resist my desire to go down and consume mass quantities of baked potatoes slathered with cottage cheese. Mmm.. Sounds so nommy. Must resist.. Evil.. Potato.. Desires...

I guess I should have expected the first day of this event to be slow and basically a no-go, right? I sent the e-mail right after midnight and held off on the promo posting on here until this morning, since I figured that there would be more people online during the day than at midnight.
Guess I was wrong. Because of this, I was actually able to finish catching up on Tsubasa. let the dramaz ensue.
Also helped my mom move some of the boxes we have out in the backyard to where they can actually be seen.
one of the lids had been moved, and I have not gone back there in ages. One of my boxes had a hole poked in its lid, so rain was able to get into it, thus ruining the clothes and stuffed animals that I had in there. And no, they were not cardboard boxes. We put almost everything in storage boxes. The only way you could even get to them is through Cheryl's backyard. Even then, you'd have to climb her fence to be able to reach our things. Until I had gone out there to get one of my own boxes, a boat cover had been placed over everything.
I honestly don't know who could've done such a thing (Want me to ruin your things? I'll be glad to ♥), but I do know that Laci has had friends in her backyard several times. It's either her or Britney. The wood on that side of the fence is taller than the rest of the fence anyway.
Isn't that wonderful? I'm not liking the teenage population on this street more and more. Seriously, we need to invest in security cameras and fix the lights outside.
What do I suggest: Don't mess with other people's stuff unless you want to be caught the next time~ ♥ 'Cause trust me, we're sick and tired of this shit happening to us.
Seriously, it's a good thing we're having a garage sale. Now we just need to go through everything.

GUYS. I love watercolours/gouache and colored pencils, but I can't find any paper on which I can use BOTH, and it's really frustrating. Any watercolour paper I can find that I like has a really toothy texture, meaning pencils just look grainy over the top. On the other side, anything good for pencils, like smooth bristol board, just absolutely absorbs the watercolours in a really pastel-y, ugly way, and I can't do anything more than washes.
Does anyone know of anything I can actually use both on? I want little texture, so I can use pencils without it looking horrible, and proper absorbency for water-based paints. :[ Is this an impossible dream?

So I just realized.. sometimes I italicize "E. coli" and "Listeria" and sometimes I don't. When I do, it's just force of habit 'cause they have to be italicized on the posters/in the articles. When I don't, it's 'cause I'm either not thinking, am thinking too fast, or just am lazy ^_^.
New diet's kicking my ass >.<.
Mommy's doing an open house for some people, so I need to call her once an hour. I don't mind, of course. She called to ask me first and, frankly, I'm probably the only one of us who would stick to it. Plus Pix and Jherri have work.. and while, technically, I do too.. naturally I'm waaaay more flexible.
Speaking of work, got lots of articles to try to download before I go pick up Hutch. Been showing up early for the last couple of days, been in a clingy mood, don't know why <3. I do know I'm ready to chop this one broad in half, despite knowing Hutch doesn't respond to her not-so-subtle cries for his attention. But I've no reason to say anything so long as she continues to, for the most part, keep her distance.

Also Harper's Tale is full of hos.
Office Corridor More of a room than a hall, this area is sort of a central nexus for the office areas of the hall. Two of the most noteworthy doors stand opposing to each other. One is lined with etching of dolphins while the other is set with carved ships. A rug of tassled blue blankets the stone flooring while the odd taspestry takes up space between doors. Wherhide covered chairs are set here and there and often sat upon by those waiting to see someone in these offices beyond. Obvious exits: Main Hall Headwoman's Office Seacraft Office Dolphincraft Office Harper's Office

so my parents made me breakfast AMAZING!
I caught up on all the Disney Channel shows...
OMG Wizards of Wavery Place...I FELT SO BAD for um the mannequin! This male mannequin got turned into a human, HE WAS SO ADORABLE because he was learning about the world! He was trying to drink soda, and kept dumping it on his face because he couldn't figure it out. and he was messing with straws! HE WAS SO ADORABLE! I love when um characters don't understand the world and are trying to figure it out. I FELT SO BAD FOR HIM! he was "in love" with the main character girl. She was only using him to make her boyfriend jealous....so in the end he got turned back into a mannequin. I was like AAHHH! He should have been able to live his life...aaww! sad day!

A couple weeks ago I went back to Perry Subaru to pick up some all weather floor mats I'd ordered (for those dirty shoes I'll no doubt get on some rockhounding trips) and on the way back, as I was starting to cross the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, I saw a pod of about a dozen dolphins swimming just off of the bridge about 20 or 30 feet to the east of it. In all the years I've lived in Hampton Roads and all the times I've been over the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, I've never seen a dolphin once. That was really neat! I was reminded today when I went back to Perry Subaru to pick up the cargo cover for the Forester. Now, the car is complete! I ordered my new plates for her today too! When the plates arrive she'll be ULTRA-COMPLETE!
GHIDRAH is coming!

Haven't seen hornworms in a while, those things are freaking awesome. I've been wanting some so I could see some hawkmoths...

"Control" - Metro Station |

Next month Scrapped Princess volume 4 comes out finally. I am very much looking forward to this. Leo is going to be introduced. And, wow. I am actually excited.
Reynard Ganvas and Berkins from the last book. Oh god beautiful. I sort of liked Reynard in the anime until his true self was shown and then it was kind of like a joke. In the novel, Reynard is actually portrayed as some very. . .insane and lost man. Delusional and god, it is so beautiful. It isn't a joke. And Berkins is fucking terrifying when you learn more about him. In the anime is he some typical sweet overly buff priest, but the novel lets you see he has a dark past and some of his old habits slip thought. ( The knife fight! THE KNIFE FIGHT! Oh god, much love. )
So I am hoping Leo is much better in the novel. I mean, he is introduced much later and after the purger attack on Winnia's town. Which means a lot of things.

I decided that I'm finally financially well-off enough to try to invest in getting a table at a con. I want to do Ohayocon, since it's close to home, and they say they'll get Artist Alley registration up sometime this month(though this month is almost over). @_@ ....IF I can get the table, it'll be my first convention selling stuff. Any advice or anyone want to share a table with me? What work do you want to see as prints/buttons, etc?
x_x I'm no good at stuff like this.

1. The 'rock star' presidential nominee [speaks in Berlin].
2. [Dating site]: with a lol.
3. [Philip Tolemo] with a series of photographs. This was amazing, and so sad.
4. Many things happened to Russ: a highlight: - Cat singed himself on the stove. This happened via me cutting up chicken next to the stove, and cat jumping up to take a closer look, and sitting down, oblivious, next to the fire, watching me with his @___@?? expression. I smelled burning fur... -_- He was bathed. Think he was far more upset over that than smelling of burned cat.
( lolcat )
5. Games - Finished Neverwinter Nights 2. Gameplay: Buggy. The AI is incredibly buggy, and stupid. Scaled casting does not work properly, or does not work at all (warlock). People will walk over traps, or follow even though you tell them to stay, or keep staying even after you've told them to follow. This makes the Near/med/Far follow distance setting semi-useless. Furthermore, Taunt seems to have no effect, and bosses, more often than most, will simply go for the most squishy. Some cutscenes are buggy, and have to be saved beforehand.
However, I did love the return to party-based gameplay, and you can have 2-4 people in your party (ending up with all your friends, in the final battle, which was a challenge to micromanage). The interaction with objects and people, however, hasn't changed much from NWN 1, and the repetitive companion dialogues can get abit weird (eg you can ask "Who are you again?" in Act III to your friends, rofl).
Graphics: Not bad! ;o Esp the spells.
Plot: Impressive (for a non-Japanese RPG). There were quite a few twists, some of which I didn't expect. The characters tended to be engaging, some of whom had very interesting side quests, and even the Sim City part in Act II was fun.
Difficulty level: Felt hard, some of the fights, esp vs the Red Dragon, and at the very end if you don't prepare properly.
( spoiler reviews )
- Have World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King beta. So far, very pretty! Prettier than the Warhammer Online beta, anyway.

The Rakkyo ch. 5 movie is out in Japan today... in theaters, so all the Japanese can see it.
Just... another six months...
Still no news at all on the status of the Baka-Tsuki translation. I don't know if it's going to continue for now or not; Alyeris's forum post is a bit vague and I'm not sure whether to ask for clarification or just... wait and see.
With this state of things, I started reading Fate/Zero. What with their starting off the story with repeated mentions of the Akashic Records, and what with all the other common Nasu threads showing up, it's not at all helping me get my mind off Rakkyo. I guess if I want to do that, I'll have to leave the Nasuverse.
Still, now I kind of want to get back to playing FSN. *sigh*
The more Nasu I read, the more I'm convinced that if I ever met a magus, I would want to avoid that person like the plague. It seems that a natural side effect of being a mage is becoming a soulless, ruthless bitch or bastard, and the ones who manage not to are the tiny minority. With Azaka deciding to take up magecraft, I fear for the future of the Kokutou family. I guess it's good they don't have any magic circuits.
That Waver Velvet is such a cocky kid that it's funny. And that name!
Anyway, going to keep reading Fate/Zero at least for now, but if I find something interesting that's not Nasu-related, I'm probably going to take a Nasu vacation :P

The president ( PM ) moved from area to area to say hello to everyone at some point. When she made it around to where I was sitting, it was cute.
I was sitting with someone from production and commercials as well as our News Director and photog. The person from production leaned over and asked what her name was. He he he.
PM leaned over and struggled to remember some names, but she remembered them all. When she looked at me, she knew me right away and basically said,
"Meagan. You and I need to talk."
"Yes we do!"
The look on the News Director's face was PRICELESS. She looked at me, a little confused, and then looked at PM with a "Oh no you are not!" kind of face.
I started laughing and PM teased that CB just gives "birth" to wonderful employees that she likes to take. Ah ha ha ha.
It was awesome.
