Well, in case you haven't figured it out, this is a community that focuses on LJ user icons--more specifically, Anime-based user icons. I know there are other communities exactly like this, but this commubity also accepts requests for custom user pics. Any and all LJ users with experence with making graphics and/or user pics is welcome and encouraged to join. You don't have to be able to make animated icons either. As long as you can crop an image to fit LJ's image limits, you're welcome to join!
Okay, heres all the specs for requesting a icon.
1) Post something about it in the subject field about an icon request, that way it'll catch someones attention right off.
2) Post a good description of what type of icon you want(series, character, colors, animated, ect.)
3) Try to be nice about it :P
4) When the icon is posted, PLEASE say thank you or acknowledge that you recieved the icon. The image-maker took time from his or her busy busy life to make your icon. Please show some form of gratitude. :P
Any type of icon is welcome to be requested, as long as it has some anime-baised influences. J-Music icons are also acceptable requests.
Users who join this community are welcome to post their icons on the community, simply to show off. ^^; But if you post more than three icons at once, please use the LJ-cut tag to save on loading time. Also, be sure to include a message telling the viewer weither or not the icon in question has been claimed(either as a seperate text bit or as an "alt" message).
This community will also hold contests every now and then. I'm not sure what the rewards for winning a contest might be tho.. ^^;; Anyway, the contest rules will be in a table below. Check back often!

IMPORTANT: Image-bashing and/or trolls will NOT be tolerated. Polite critisim is much different than bashing, so please, exercise some decorum folks. I don't want to have to ban people, but I will if the user shows him/herself to be a constant problem. Sorry about this, but it had to be said. If you're banned and you feel its a mistake, please by all means, email me and ask why you were banned.
