| About: | Welcome to the Animorphs Fanfiction Contest! Anyone is welcome to participate. You don't have to submit a fic to vote later on, and you certainly don't have to vote if you submit a fic. The contest will start September 1st and end December 31st. Judging will begin mid January and winners will be announced soon after. Here are the rules... FIC RULES: 1) The fanfic must be Animoprhs centric, though crossovers are allowed. 2) The fanfic can be incomplete. 3) The fanfic can be a series, though all parts need to be linked and the series will be considered as a whole, not an individual section. 4) Anything else is fair game. ENTRY RULES 1) The subject line must contain the title of the fic and the category it's entered into (see below for information on categories). 2) The entry must contain: Title Author Contest Category Rating Pairing (if any) Summary Disclaimer Warnings (if any) 3) Include a link to the fic, or post the fic behind an LJ cut. JUDGING RULES: The fic will be judged in the following categories: Best Het Best Slash Best Gen Best Smut Best Crossover Best AU Best Angst Best Humor In addition, there will be a 'best overall' category, but fics for that will be decided by nomination after the close of the contest. Please, don't enter your fic under 'best overall'. After the close of the contest, I will start accepting nominations for 'best overall'. Mid January, I'll set up a poll for all the fic categories, and people can vote for which fic they liked the best. Yes, you can vote for yourself. Please don't use sockpuppet journals to vote multiple times. It's just a game, okay? Again, even if you don't submit a fic you can vote. That's all!
