Anyways, my challenge is to write a one-shot about the relationship between Pan and Miho Won not shown in the manga. Like a background story or something. It canbe any rating, it doesn't really matter. If you can make it into something more than a one-shot, I would love to see it!

| Anime/Doctor Who crossover |

Okay, so I've seen one or two Doctor Who/Ranma crossovers so far, and a few are pretty decent. So, I'd like to see people try some more anime crossovers with the show. I'd personally prefer if it was set during the current run of Doctor Who and featured one of these crossovers:
Fullmetal Alchemist
Gunsmith Cats
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Noir
Rurouni Kenshin
However, don't feel too constrained by these criteria. If you wanna make it about an earlier Doctor than 9 or 10, or have a different anime in mind for a crossover, go for it. ^_^

I've REALLY wanted to do this for ages now, but I've got so much fic-writing to catch up on, that I can't form solid ideas, so I pass this idea on to you fine people. *bows*
Lately, I've become a fan of the Finnish power-rock band Sonata Arctica, especially the album Songs of Silence. So, the challenge is this: write me a one-shot for each song on the album(there are 17). Separately or together as a collection, I don't care. Bonus points if you include one or all of three songs I really like that don't come from that album: Thor the Thundergod, The Dragon's Skull, and White Pearl, Black Oceans. Extra bonus points if it's The Dragon's Skull.
Rules:
1. Any fandom, though Le Portrait de Petite Cossette, Death Note, Trinity Blood, Paranoia Agent, Alichino, Blood+, Bizenghast, and Rozen Maiden are the ones that come to mind when I read the lyrics. But, others are fine too.
2. Try to keep it under PG-13, unless sex/lime is mentioned in the lyrics(like, there's a line about the singer loosing his virginity and getting a girl pregnant in White Pearl, Black Oceans).
4. You can use different fandoms for different songs. I think that'd make it even cooler. ^__^
5. These can either be songfics, or stories based on the lyrics.
Other than that, just have fun and be creative. I look forward to the results!

I recently acquired a plot-bunny I feel would be too difficult to work with myself, so I figured I'd pass it along, if that's alright. It's a crossover between Trinity Blood and Blood+, in which (AX? Abel and Ion after ep 24? your choice) has a run in with a vampire from Pre-Armageddon and her loyal retainer, in other words, Saya and Hagi. The minor details are up to the author, such as pairings, etc.
And tell me what you come up with, please? It's a cool idea, but like I said, I have doubts about my own ability to write it well. So have fun, ne?

Hello to everyone! I came across this community and decided to join. Now, time for the challenge since I have to offer a challenge in the post.
The challenge is open to all fandoms, all ratings, and all couplings if you want. It can be cross-overs if you want. Since it's nearing the end of the year, the challenge is write a new beginnings fic. Take a character and give them a purpose for the new year. The purpose should be different from their usual purpose.

Okay, I did a marathon viewing on Babylon 5 Season 2 recently, and came up with this rather lame idea for a challenge, has the potential to be quite dark as well.
Write a fic (the main fandom doesn't have to be Ranma, but in the fic it must share the same reality with the Ranmaverse) where a character is told the following:
"If you go to Jusenkyo/Jusendo/Nerima, you will die."
This prophetic statement has to be important to the storyline and it must come true in some form or other.
See what you can do with that, I need to go write a report now. -_-

I've been looking all over the place for this genre. Sadly I've had no luck what so ever. So I decided to post it as a challenge instead. What I'd like is to see the Mew Mew's dumped into the world of Amastris. I'd like to see Ichigo or multiple parings with the following characters from FMA. Greed, Edward, Alphonse, Envy, and Roy. Also if you want the Mew Mew can be an OC. I don't really mind how you do it, I just want to see something on this.

Okay...Challenge...Right.
It's a simple one, cuz I'm braindead. =}
Your story must include something getting spilled on the couch.
I'd rather it not be something het/yaoi/yuri...but...whatever floats your boat.
The main character must also use the same saying at least twice, and the saying has to be something annoyingly cliche =]
It can be any fandom...Really, actually, there aren't any specific guidelines except what I've already said.

Your challenge is to write a story where a bottle of perfume falls and breaks. It can be a funny story, the fall can be an accident, done on purpose, or the fall could be the result of anger. You can even write a angsty cutting fic if your heart desires to. Whatever as long as there's a perfume bottle breaking somewhere in it. You can write yaoi, yuri, or het. Also, any rating is allowed. edit: Gen/non-romantic fic is alright to write as well.

To write a crack-fic. Any fandom, though if it is FullMetal Alchemist, Wolf's Rain, Kyo Kara Maoh, Loveless, YuGiOh!, YuYu Hakusho, InuYasha, DNAngel, Yami no Matsuei, Rurouni Kenshin, Gravitation, Death Note, FAKE, or Earthian, I will understand it better. Now, on to the specifications:
What, you ask, is a crack-fic? It's one that, when you read it, makes you think, "Just what was the author *on*?" Usually they are humorous, possibly parodies, and they always have an element of the insane in there. And that's what I want you to write- I want you to write as though you were on crack.
No word min or max, pairings are fine, yaoi, yuri, het, whatever, please leave a warning if it is R/M rating, and basically the sky's the limit.
So now I send you off to write! Good luck!

Ok, new one here.....
New challenge from a newbie. looking to see a Godzilla vs a mecha (ie.. gundam wing, full metal panic, bubblegum crisis, GasaRaka...) Pilot in mecha please, no lone wandering mecha. needs a pilot!!
Must NOT be one shot kills... full battle a must. and please, detailed!!! (no, ie, buster cannon one shot kill .. wing zero...)
Would like to see a Dou on sugar high, if possible. Not necessarily in a gundam, but visisble. Psycho child of darkness!!!
Also, Godzilla doesn't have to be the one destroying the city. Random fight or maybe the mecha destroying with godzilla defending poor defenseless town will work. feel free to be creative.
any rating.. please no lemons!! This is supposed to be an fluff/ ACTION fic. and no pwp... plot MUST have a point.

Here's a cool challenge for folks.
Take any character with a distinctive physical feature. Change or remove it and then write a drabble or fic with the character explaining why they did it. For example, you could have Usagi's "why I don't wear odango anymore" or Yuki Eiri's "Why I stopped smoking." (Or Kenshin's "Why I had facial reconstructive surgery"... hahaha)!!

I present to you all a Challenge! I like dreaming about going to different places so I present to you the Canada Challenge! I know there are a lot of more "exciting" places out there but the globe told me to make it Canada. Yes I did spin a globe to see were it would land XD
The Rules~
3.) It must take place in Canada.
2.) Any rating is fine ^_^
3.) The story must be AU. This way it can be a fandom that I haven't read before and there won't be spoilers or anything that confuses me.
4.) The characters can't know each other. They are meeting for the first time.
5.) One of the characters already has someone.
6.)Yaoi, Het and Yuri are fine.
7.) Last but not least I would like for this to be romantic.

Hello All. I hope it is okay to post this in here. If not then I apologize. Anyways, I have created the first and Official Sailor Moon Fanfiction Group on myspace.com I know a lot of people have a myspace, so if you're interested in reading and/or writing fanfiction you should come along and join my group ^_^ There are a couple of rules, but nothing unmanagable. There are only two rules. 1)You need to put in the regular information before your story:
*Title: The name of your story
*Author: Obviously, who you are
*Rating: G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17 (and why it's rated that. You know, like PG-13 for some violence, and adult language..)
*Summary: A brief explanation of your story
*Completed: Is your story complete or incomplete
*Disclaimer: Something saying that basically you do not own Sailor Moon.
and 2) I have NOTHING against R or NC-17 rated stories. I enjoy them ^_~ lol. But if you are going to post a story rated like that you have to message me and inform me about it so I can change the group to YES for mature content, so I don't get in trouble. Ya know?

This is a very quiet place... I'll try my hand at issuing a challenge.
Write a fic about a crossover pairing (e.g. Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho and Makoto from Sailormoon) from any two fandoms, but it should be from the point of view of another character from a fandom other than the first two (e.g. Rukia from Bleach). Basically you have three characters from three different fandoms. :)
Please don't include any scenes with kissing or sex. Something with fluff, humor, or action/adventure is preferred.

Well, even though this place is pretty dead, I'm here to issue a challenge to anyone that stumbles upon it and is willing to try.
Write an FMA (Fullmetal Alchemist) fic including sparkles, but not including Armstrong. Any rating.
I'm interested to see what anyone comes up with - only because I got "sparkles" as a requirement on the Totally Promiscuous FMA Pairing Machine, and the first thing I thought of to put in was a cameo by Armstrong.
It's a fairly simple challenge, and I'm hoping someone will take it up.
Bonus points if the sparkles play into the story heavily, and aren't just a passing mention. ^_^

Wow...No one's posted in almost a year [[looks around]]. Wonder what happened.
Anyway, if theres still some people out there that look at this, here's a brand new challenge.
From any anime/manga, answer the question, "What would have happened had the main character not met this person?" or "What would have happened had the main character died?"
Something that would drastically change the anime. That what this challenge is about. I don't care how many chapters it is, but I think that this would work out well as an angst ONE-SHOT. But it's all up to you.
An example would be: Hikaru no Go What would have happened had Hikaru never met Sai? The lives of everyone would never be the same.
Another example: Naruto If the villager's of Konoha had their way, Naruto would have been dead when he was a baby. What if this happened? How would the lives of people he influenced [[Gaara, Neji, Sasuke...etc.]]have bveen different?
Inuyasha What if Kagome didnt pull out that arrow from Inuyasha?

It answers the question to the Hikaru no Go.
Summary: Had Hikaru never met Sai, life would have been different.

i'm really hoping that someone will take me up on this one. this is one of my favorite pairings, all though all too rare for my taste & one of my all time favorite songs. if anyone does decide to take me up this challenge & wants to hear the song - (it's late 80's, southern Cal punk for anyone interested) let me know & i'll send you a copy.
Pairing: Shika/Ino
Time line: current one, extrapolated current one, alternate universe - ummm whatever works best for you.
Rating: i'm prefer M/R-NC17, but since i'm the one asking & not writing it, i'll PG-13/K+
Page/word limit: ummm, i prefer something a bit lengthy, at least over 2,500 words although 5,000+ would be great.
plot line: i want this based off a particular song - not a song fic, but based off the lyrics. i'm hoping for a story from Shika's perspective after they've broken up & she's moved on, but he hasn't. if it has a happy ending with aome angst, that'd be great, if not at least leave a bit of hope in the future.
