We created this as a place to express your love for Angel/Dawn as a romantic or friendship pairing. Other rare Angel het pairings are welcome as well! Angel/Fred, Angel/Tara, Angel/Faith, or others. Knock yourselves out, share! We’re here to celebrate rare Angel-based het pairings, although Angel/Dawn is what we created this space for. We love them, and we hope others will grow to love them as well.
So bring your artwork and fiction, meta, canony thoughts based on these pairings. Have at it. Our only rule for these pairings is that in fic, we want to see Angel and Dawn (or other women) interact in a healthy and consensual way. We believe these characters can share a real bond, whether as friends or lovers. Darkfic has its place in the fandom, but that place is just not here.
We don’t ask that it’s all fluff all the time! Mannnn, how boring would that be. Angst can be great, conflict is often essential, and good fic, like life, can be complicated and murky. But in the end, we’d like to know that they share an affection and respect for one another, even if they don’t start out that way. In general, no rape-fics or storylines where one of the characters is trying to punish themselves by entering into a relationship with the other. Of course, we do recognize that there are exceptions, and these premises can be made into the jumping-off point for the growth of something beautiful. Those cases are welcome.
You’ll find the nuts and bolts of how to post fic below…what deserves a cut, etc.
We encourage feedback! These are rare pairings, which means they're as rarely read as they are written. Your fellow shippers deserve a pat on the back for their work, so that they produce more! see, it's all selfish really. even if you just drop them a quick "I enjoyed this," that can be encouraging. We all like to know we're not playing alone in the dark :)

Please label fic with a pairing, rating, and any necessary warnings of kinks or possible squicks.
Our members would appreciate anything longer than a drabble going under a cut! The html code for an LJ cut is

Likewise, if you are posting more than 3 icons or artwork larger than an icon please put it under a cut, excepting an art teaser. Typically, we like these to done with the following coding:
<a href="URL of image"><img src="URL of image" width="200"></a> This coding resizes an image to save room on folks’ flists and can be used for a teaser image for your fic or art. However, no nudity above the cut, please, no exceptions. Any art you include should be marked as work safe or not work safe for the benefit of members.
No RPF or RPS may be posted here- we don't object in principle but this isn’t the place.
No kiddie porn - we DO object! (This would be defined as something with a very young child, not a character who is 16 in a fic. As long as the fic is marked for those who don't like underage characters, then it is okay. What we *don’t* allow is five year olds having sex, for obvious reasons. If you are in doubt of whether your situation is appropriate, check with the moderators.)
No plagiarism is tolerated - If you spot something here that you think is suspect, please report it to one of the mods and when we have checked it we will report it tostop_plagiarism. If any member is found to have plagiarized they will be banned.
No reposting of fandom creative work without permission from the creator. This includes, fan fiction, artwork, icons, graphics, and fan videos. Fan videos that are on You Tube or other video hosting websites can only be posted with the video creator's permission.
