Have you ever wished Vader had someone to talk to post RotS? Have you ever thought Padmé was a little too mature and Anakin a little too emo for their 'love' to be plausible? If you ship Sobiwan, Obidala, or just have a penchant for unconventional ships, then Anakin/Vader + Dormé just might be a ship for you. For good or for evil, these two are forever entwined. Where one goes, the other is certain to follow, but which course will they take? |

Anakin and Dormé → AU Dormékin is an AU pairing in which Dormé went with Anakin to Naboo during AotC instead of Padmé (so she would remain on Coruscant for the duration of the film). Unlike Padmé, Dormé doesn't put up with his whinging, nor does she 'comfort' him after he slaughters a village of Sandpeople. His dark side doesn't scare her per-se, but she does push Anakin's buttons... Dormé has a bit of a rough edge, doesn't put much faith in gods or the Force, and doesn't put up with Anakin's emoness. She might not ever be the Principal Handmaiden in Amidala's entourage, nor will she ever be rich and famous, but she will always have faith in her best friend. Anakin and Dormé aren't the sharpest blades in the cabinet, but their love is the stuff of legend. |

Vader and Dormé → Canon Both Vader and Dormé loved Padmé, though in different ways. Her death was a huge blow to the both of them and fuelled their need for revenge. Dormé felt incredibly sorry for the man who fell to Kenobi's blade and would do anything to see that her friend was avenged for the scarring he received. Vader and Dormé find comfort in their mutual sorrow over Padmé's death, forming an odd friendship with each other. They come to realise their similarities and from this, a reluctant romance blooms. |

| ¬They are love sponges. What this means exactly is that they feed off the affections of other people. Anakin/Vader loves the attention Dormé gives him and Dormé basks in the attention he gives her. ¬They often make promises they are not strong enough to uphold, but are aware of this flaw in each other. ¬They both are very passionate people, putting their entire heart, mind, and yes, even their soul into things they believe in.
