Hi all! I am terribly sorry that I have been neglecting livejournal. My summer has been so eventful and yet uneventful. Basically, I am taking 15 credits this summer to raise my awful GPA. I travel 30 miles a day to West Chester University; there I take Chemistry and Precalc. Surprisingly my Chem average is a 99%. I score the highest in the class on all my tests. Precalc is... well precalc, but I have a C+. One more week to go and then I am home free.

I have been going out randomly with the 'minicrew.' It's not the whole gang but individuals or couples. Kathleen got shitty last night at a party, she drove (a stickshift), I was stranded 25 minutes away from my house, and I wanted to go home. I ended up begging my friend AJ to come pick me up. It was such a mess. Work has been good. We smoke entirely too much green though. I never thought I would be considered a 'head.' But, I think girls that smoke is a real turn on :) Oh well, photos... mmmkay?

Well ım ın turkey wıth KJ. gettıng tıred of ıt now - ı mıss food stayıng ın my stomach. ıve lost weıght. ı dont even want to know how much (guessıng 7+lbs) PISSED of about that (took me soo long to get on). gettıng really anoyed wıth ppls shıtty comments. ı swear ıf ı here one more person tellıng me to 'eat' (esp when ı have just brough a pastry from them) ı am goıng to get physıcal. apparently ıt ıs 'not healthy' to be thıs skınny and ı should 'eat 6 tımes a day, rıce, chıcken, and mılk espcıally'. ı actually had a TRAINIE PSYCHIATRIST come and ask me ıf ı knew ı was anorexıc. rıght. she was goıng on about how ı 'apeared' to eat well at B.F but she could see ı was only pretendıng! -ıt took me a whıle to work out that she was referıng to the fact ı put bread ın my bag (to eat later ı mıght add) ıf ı were 'hıdıng' food (whılst eatıng alone?) she wld not know about ıt - she went on to tell me ı would never be a healthy weıght 'well mabey ın 5 or ten years, maybe' bugger off, try chrıstmas.2008.
ıts funny though. before these comments would drıve me further ınto the ed, 'you look thın' was heard as 'you,re succeedıng' 'you look anorexıc' was 'keep ıt up' etc. now though attentıon for my weıght just frustrates me because ıts so meanıgless. so what ıf ım very thın?? so what ıf ım very fat? or have a glass eye? ıts just one small aspect of who ı am. ıts not what ı want to be remembered for.

Wargames was fuckin sweeeeeeet!!!

I have never seen such a concentrated group of nerds and basement-dwellers in my life. One dude had his laptop out and was blogging about it during the movie.

Not that I have any right to speak as I am currently blogging from surf city - howdy!

Did you know there's a direct to dvd sequel to wargames? Wtf.

Oh speaking of ruining great movies, they made a remake of 'The Day The Earth Stood Still' starring Keanu Reeves as Klaatu...what? That's like remaking casablanca with britney spears and justin timberlake. Whio is this 'they' and is it legal to kill them?

Yesterday boy and I went to the mall where I got two adorably cleavage friendy sun dresses and a thoroughly obnoxious shirt (neon yellow with pink and green palm trees and blue lightning bolts). Also, final fantasy 12 (they made a 12?! I still haven't beaten 10!!) and chanels new BLUE SATIN NAIL POLISH HOLYSHITOMG. I have black satin, I have red satin, I have pink satin, and now... blue. BLUE. This is reeally exciting to me.

So we got home and I wanted to play more final fantasy 10 before bed but mo called and basically said 'we're on our way home from philly and we'll be there in 10 minutes to pick you up.'

And lo we did spend the night drinking at bros hammonds house, just the 5 of us, and it was a vast improvement on the last party, but again misa ruined my day. She asked if she could borrow a pair of sunglasses. Now, folks, those who do not know me in real life do not know my extreme sunglass habits. Every year for christmas and my birthday my grandparents get me a new pair of expensive shades that I wear only to special occasions, and as soon as I get them I find a pair of identical knockoffs on ebay to wear elsewhere. The top drawer of my dresser is jammed full of cases with the fakes carefully labled so I do not accidentally wear the real ones out somewhere where they could get stolen (camden) or damaged (house party). I know, I'm a brat, but my grandparents like to spend their recently earned wealth on us (my grandfather is a business genius.) I feel a lot better when they buy me a pair of $300 sunglasses than I did when they came back from a 2 week trip to europe with dior bags for all of us.

Anyway, I put a tiny pink mickey sticker inside the real cases and a black one inside the fakes. I told misa she could borrow any one that has a black sticker.

She borrowed a pair of real chanels because, silly me, the logo on the case was black and that's what she thought I meant.

Not only that but she threw them in her purse and ruined the lenses.

Sonofa...
I'm not that angry. I told her not to worry. I just need to know if the glasses place can buff scratches out...

Now I'm at the beach and its hot. I'm finally reaching what I think is my OTL (optimum tan-ness level) and summers almost done. *sigh* I got a ticket for a 2 week trial at tann lines so I'm going to try them out and if they don't suck I'm switching from aztec to there. I love aztec but its so far away, I never feel like going. The new place is literally on my block.

Oh I bought a lady palm tree and bamboo for my room. I have to clean it up again but my tropical island paradise is slowly coming together.

Augh doesn't it figure I just started to go into the ocean and it became cloudy?!

In the Medieval French tale of Cinderella, her slippers were not "verre" but "vair" -- fur slippers, such as were worn in Medieval Europe.

Originally, the only types of fur worn in that day were ermine and vair.  The white fur with the black spots lining cloaks of kings and noblemen? Ermine. Vair was made from squirrel pelts stitched together to show the blue-gray fur alternating with the white underside.

In short, Cinderella wore squirrel slippers.

I wonder how her little mouse-friends felt about that.

The last few days I havent been working
and thus my mood went went from "Oh God, Im stressed even though Im hardly doing anything" to this summerholiday-esque (well, it basicly is just that) feeling of not knowing what to do with your time.

I'm in kind of a weird phase that happens periodically, in which I get depressed and temporarily withdraw from my social life.

Anyway, just so yah know, I got fed up with the clutter on my MySpace and baleeted it. I'll have a new one in a few days. I made a list of people's URLs so I can add them immediately to my new one; there's like 14 people. It's kind of refreshing. I had like 150 people, which isn't all that many, but it was mostly bands, people I didn't know, and people I never talk to, and it just felt cluttered.

I also baleeted my FaceBook because I hate FaceBook and all it really did was keep me tethered to IB by keeping me in touch with IB people whom I had no interest in communicating with. :-/


Aaaanyway... I'm thinking of dying my hair another color or something, or at least getting it straightened. My hair and I have a horrible history... my mom used to scream at me about it... I still have flashbacks when my depression's acting up, lol. Plus, I feel ugly and shitty lately, and I think it might help me feel better.
