This Amy Dumas/Lita Fan is Pissed off at WWE! *Smackdown Spoilers*

As a Lita Fan and Amy Dumas Dan this really pissed me off!

So i was looking at spoilers for this week Smackdown to see if i should watch it and I read this

* Edge comes out and says he is happy for his and Vickie's wedding. He says they should go to Las Vegas. I'm told Vickie is drawing a ton of heat, making it very hard to hear what is going on. Triple H interrupts by saying he would never sleep with Vickie but she is nicer looking than any other woman Edge has ever been with. Triple H vs. Edge is then set up for The Great American Bash pay-per-view later this month.

That IMO was a cheap shot to Amy Dumas AKA Lita and I don't know why they even took that direct shot at her. She hasn't done or said anything about the wwe since she left and I am so sorry Vickie is no way prettier or hotter then Amy Dumas is! You know if Edge was with Trish before Trish left they would not say shit about Trish they always treated Amy Dumas like shit if you ask me just look at her last match and how they have her to leave the Biz.

So I say Fuck you WWE and Fuck You Vince McMahon. You where Lucky to have Amy Dumas/Lita in your company. If she ever comes back to wrestling i hope she goes to TNA and make them get all the ratings then you'll see you should not treated her like Shit!

Lita Speaks On Edge, Hardy's Suspension & More

Lita was on Y101 this morning in Richmond at 7:40 AM. It was a pretty bad interview. She didn't seem comfortable talking about wrestling and the hosts didn't want to talk about her band. They asked her if she was still with Edge and she said even if she was, she wouldn't say because she's learned not to talk about that after all that went down. She said that she doesn't miss wrestling at all and hasn't even watched it (the hosts even had to seem to remind her she was on the 15th Anniversary Show). The hosts brought up Jeff Hardy's suspension and Lita said that she hadn't heard and it sucks. When asked if Jeff smokes pot or what, she said she didn't know. They then started talking about the venue she'd be performing in before trying to pretend Koko B. Ware was the in the ring talking with her, which she clearly wasn't going for nor wanted to go along with. Afterwards, the hosts talked about how horrible she was for not talking about her personal life. Totally pointless interview and an overall waste of time for every human being possible.

credit - twnpnews.com

Amy "Lita" Dumas Hospitalized Due To Laryngitis, Band's Concert Canceled

Former WWE Women's Champion Amy "Lita" Dumas was hospitalized today and her band's concert in Imperial, PA was canceled. She has laryngitis as she lost her voice and is on medication now.

According to the concert venue, The Luchagors' guitar player called them and said Dumas was being taken to the hospital. He said due to her condition, there was no way she could do the show. They are hoping to reschedule a future date at the club.

Dumas sent out the following bulletin on her MySpace page regarding her sickness: "Sorry guys! Until everyone knows the words and can help me sing- I just can't do it tonight. I got so sick out here on the road and completely lost my voice. Not just kind of- but like nothing above a whisper. I am on some serious meds and bring my note pad with me everywhere so I don't talk. It looks really dumb, but I don't want to have to cancel anymore shows. We are on for West Virginia and the rest of the tour, I am so sorry for everyone that was planning on coming to see us tonight- xxoo, amy"

The Luchagors are currently in the midst of a huge tour as they have a number of dates on the east coast scheduled throughout the month.

~Wrestling Observer

BALTIMORE SUN INTERVIEW: "Q&A WITH AMY DUMAS"

Anyone who has ever watched Amy Dumas, formerly known as Lita, perform her acrobatic, high-flying moves in World Wrestling Entertainment knows that she isn't afraid to take risks. Dumas perhaps took her biggest chance yet last November when she left WWE after nearly seven years to pursue a career in the music business. The former women's wrestling champ is the lead singer of the Luchagors, an Atlanta-based punk rock band. Dumas, 31, hasn't walked away from the ring completely, however, and she will make an appearance at Sunday's Maryland Championship Wrestling show in Dundalk.

What went into your decision to leave a highly successful career with WWE?
It felt like it was time to at least see what else was out there. It's a job that you have to give 110 percent to be successful at, and I just felt like I didn't have 110 percent to give anymore. I feel like if I would have stayed longer with WWE I would have started to resent my time there, because you're so inundated with the schedule and everything.

How did you feel about your breakup with fellow wrestler Matt Hardy and your involvement with Edge [Adam Copeland] becoming public knowledge and then being played out in a WWE story line?
That whole thing was just such a hard time for me. When you go through personal problems, it's hard enough as it is, but then to have every aspect of your life out there and to feel like everybody knows your business when they really only know such a small percent and they're passing judgment ... there were definitely days when I didn't feel like getting on the plane to go to work.

How often are you appearing at independent wrestling shows these days?
This is my first independent wrestling show since I left WWE. I trained with Maryland Championship Wrestling before I made it to WWE, so I think it's fitting to go back to where I started.

How did the Luchagors come about?
Music has always meant a lot to me, and I've always had a bunch of friends in bands. I was talking a lot about [forming a band] and finally some friends of mine just called me out. I had already agreed to sign autographs at a rock and wrestling benefit show in Atlanta, and they were like, "Why don't you get a couple songs together and play?" I couldn't come up with a good enough excuse not to. So I just went for it. It opened up this new creative avenue that I've really immersed myself in.

How would you describe your sound?
As far as bands that people have heard, I'd say something like the Ramones, the Misfits, with some Rancid and maybe a little metal influence. People say Joan Jett a lot because my vocals are raw like hers.

What are your plans as far as touring and recording?
Right now we're just playing about once a month in Atlanta. As soon as our record comes out, we'll pretty much go everywhere. We're in the studio now, and our record should be out in March. [Bassist] Rachel Bolan from Skid Row is producing it, and he's been teaching us so much. Putting myself in a vulnerable position in which I could fail has been really challenging and refreshing.

Maryland Championship Wrestling is at Plaza Flea Market, 2401 North Point Blvd., Dundalk, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20-$25. Call 410-719-0030 or go to ticketmonster.com.

credit - http://www.amy-net.org/

LITA SAYS GOODBYE

Just days before she walked into Survivor Series to defend her coveted Women’s Championship against Mickie James, Lita informed the world that this match would be her last. After seven successful and controversial years in WWE, Lita announced her retirement from sports-entertainment.

By Sunday night, before many WWE fans could even fully grasp the weight of Lita’s announcement, the match had come and gone. Lita was no longer Women’s Champion. No longer a WWE Diva. No longer side-by-side with World Tag Team Champion Edge.

Amid the fans in attendance in Philadelphia, sects of Lita loyalists in the Wachovia Center shared an emotional mantra: “Thank you, Lita!”

By the time the bell rang to signify the end of the match, it was clear that WWE would be missing a star.

“I’ll have a lot of memories with me and a lot of experiences with me but I’m ready to keep moving ahead,” Lita confessed. “I’ve been looking around the locker room and there aren’t many people left that were here when I started. It’s a sad time, but I know this is right.”

Even after Lita’s exhaustive post-loss in-ring tirade, it seemed her truest fans were present for the ex-Diva’s final WWE match. This augmented Lita’s strong sentiment for her supporters that have stuck by her through thick and thin, good times and bad.

Perhaps the greatest of her fans is the Rated-R Superstar, who lingered behind the curtain at the Wachovia Center during Lita’s championship defense. Once the defeated champion made her way out of the arena, the two stood together backstage for one last time.

“[Edge] is so close to me and he has heard me weigh out these options and talk about my feelings,” Lita said. “He is supportive and he understands my decision.”

Despite their deep bond, Lita candidly explained that her intentions to leave sports-entertainment began in mid-2005 with the onset of very personal issues involving Edge. When Lita’s relationship with the Rated-R Superstar became publicized and broadcast on WWE programming each week, the former Women’s Champion experienced a drastically sharp transformation.

From being verbally harassed by people in the street, to receiving hate mail and having objects thrown at her, Lita described the difficulty of balancing her emotions on a personal level with those cultivated within her career.

“It felt like even if I was walking the dog there was going to be someone yelling ‘You screwed Matt’ out the window,” she recalled. “It really took a toll on me; it affected every aspect of my life. Although that’s passed now, the weight of that situation stays with me every day.”

She added, “I feel like there is no way for me to escape the whole feeling that I have from being involved in such a public affair. There’s no other alternative for me than to walk away.”

By no means, however, does Lita have any regrets or ill-will towards her career. A four-time Women’s Champion and known for being in the first-ever women’s Steel Cage Match in WWE, Lita fought through multiple injuries to be able to claim her spot in sports-entertainment history.

“I’ve had an awesome career and I’m more confident in the ring today than I ever have been,” Lita claimed. “But, I’ve made my mark. There is no hidden meaning behind my leaving; this is just me needing to take a break.”

That break, Lita said, will be her opportunity for things she couldn’t otherwise do under the Superstars’ travel schedule. Outside the squared-circle, the former Women’s Champion is a songwriter and guitar and bass player for her band the Luchagors – whose shirt Lita wore in her final match at Survivor Series. In addition to devoting more time to her musical passion, the retiree plans to act in her friends’ theatrical productions.

“Now is the time to try new things for me, and to not regret things I didn’t do later on,” she said. “I’m just going to roll with it and see where this new direction in life takes me, and I’m open to whatever possibilities do or don’t come my way.”

Lita embarked upon her WWE journey in February 2000 and fought to continue it following a neck injury that required a 17-month absence from the ring. Now, she is eager for the rest of her life away from sports-entertainment. As she continued to coolly address the culmination of her career, Lita admitted that “never” doesn’t necessarily always mean “never” – especially in WWE.

“Coming in and showing a new Diva that she’s not hot stuff would be fun,” she mused. “I have the utmost respect for the amazing experiences I have had here and I am keeping the door open. I’ll figure that out when it comes.”

credit - wwe.com

Nora says she just recently heard the official word on Amy retiring. She said she'd heard rumors but nothing official. She says she's really happy for her.

On if Amy changed the face of women's wrestling, Nora says "absolutely!". She says when she was in WCW, Amy was just coming on the scene and she had heard of her and she wanted to do all these highflying moves. Nora says she was awesome and little did she know she'd soon be working with her. Nora says she shocked the fans, not only because of how beautiful and athletic and daring but she had something about her that made fans not be able to take their eyes off her. Nora says she was new and fresh. She brings up Lita's first divas cover, she says normally it'd be someone like Sable but instead it was Lita who had this unique look that appealed to many people. She then talks about how Lita helped her in many ways by allowing diversity and proving to Vince McMahon that it's not just one type of girl that can draw money to the company. Nora says at that time she was up there as one of the 3 biggest women in wrestling, she says there was a time when she couldn't go out in public without causing chaos.

Nora is then asked if since the last time she was around Amy, did she notice if her interest for the industry had changed since when she first started. Nora says when Amy first came into the WWE and when she first met her, she was the most serious girl she'd ever met in her life. She said she was so serious about everything and wasn't really fun. She said she was great to watch in the ring, but she thought she needed to lighten up a little. Nora then says after she came back from breaking her neck, she was a total different person. Nora said that she herself would always encourage people to go out and see what each city has to offer while on the road, and she says both Lita and Trish took an interest to going and seeing what is out there in the world, and they both wanted to accomplish everything they could in women's wrestling. She says Amy seemed to just enjoy traveling and seeing everything more and tried to have fun doing her job and just enjoyed life.

Nora then sarcastically says she'd love going to work when the storyline revolves around your personal life (referring to the Matt/Edge saga). She says if her personal life was made public in a storyline like that, she would deffinitely be upset. She says she never talked to Amy about how she felt though. So she doesn't know how it actually affected her outlook on the business. They then discuss an interview Lita did on WWE.com after the saga made headlines and how she bluntly said she feels her job is to entertain the fans and when she leaves the arena, what she does, is her business and she isn't obligated to explain it. Nora also talks about how she hopes women who are getting into the wrestling business don't expect to have a 50 year long career or for it to be their life long job. She encourages women to have many dreams and work to accomplish them. She comments on how Amy might have decided to do the wrestling thing for a few years and then go into music, acting etc..she really doesn't know.

Nora comments briefly on Trish. She says she deffinitely helped continue women's wrestling with the help of her backstage presense and on-screen presense and she did great things for women's wrestling.

credit - http://www.amy-net.org/

After a remorseless attack upon Mickie James on Raw, Women’s Champion Lita both surprised and appalled WWE and its fans by announcing her retirement from sports-entertainment. Callously addressing the Baltimore crowd in the 1st Mariner Arena and those watching at home, Lita essentially told the world that she was done with WWE.

“I was debating about retiring for a quite a while,” Lita told WWE.com following her announcement. “But, I’ve made my decision and made it official tonight on Raw with the WWE fans.”

With her opponent defeated, Lita made the bombshell declaration that her final match will take place at Survivor Series in her title defense against Mickie. According to Lita, Sunday couldn’t come any sooner.

“I’m sick and tired of not being respected for the contributions I’ve made in the past and also every week on Raw,” said the Women’s Champion. “The [other Superstars and Divas] in the locker room turned their back on me when I wasn’t the cool person to like.”

Seven years a WWE Diva, Lita’s current Women’s Championship reign is her fourth. If all goes accordingly, Lita will leave WWE as the unseated champion, trumping her long-time rival Trish Stratus, who retired as champion in September.

“I’d love to say thanks to my fans that were with me since day one and are still there today,” she said. “I’ve got nothing for fair-weather fans that were with me at one time, but because I make a personal decision they don’t approve of, they decide to turn their back on me.”

The Women’s Champion has not yet devised any post-retirement plans. Lita is looking forward to making history on Sunday in Philadelphia. Only afterwards will she consider her post-WWE years.

“I am going to figure out what I’m going to do the day after Survivor Series,” added Lita. “But, I’m sure I won’t be thinking of the other Superstars, Divas or WWE fans when I’m kicking my feet up and not working.”

credit - wwe.com

Tonight on RAW Lita defeated Mickie James once again, except this time Mickie was blindfolded. Lita made easy work of Mickie and hit a DDT and landed a moonsault for the win. After completely destroying Mickie, a very frustrated Lita let it all out on the mic.

Lita begins by telling Mickie that she's a prime example of why she is the most dominant woman that the wrestling industry has ever seen. She says people like DX and John Cena have the audastity to disrespect her. She then says "but worst of all, it's all of you people". She says they seem to have forgotten who she is and what she's done. Lita says she single handedly revolutionized women's roles in the WWE. She says before her all women were eye candy, there were no moonsaults, there were no Litaranranas. She talks about all the sacrifices she has made, including tearing everything out of her knee or breaking her neck or getting verbally degraded by the fans every week. She says with all the sacrifices she's made, she has expired a generation of women. Lita says without her there would be no Mickie James. She goes even further and says without her there would be no Trish Stratus. She says they're going to make her job very easy to forget about all of them. Lita says she's going to walk into Survivor Series, beat Mickie James, remain the women's champion and walk away from all of them. Lita then announces that Survivor Series is her last match. She says she's going to retire and do it as the greatest women's champion of all time. Lita then holds her title proudly and walks up the ramp with what seems to be a huge weight finally lifted. Edge is seen watching backstage nodding in approval.

·Amy-Net.Org

I am sad that Lita is leaving the WWE, but I'm SO glad that she made that announcement, because whether you like it or not, what she said is true. And I'm glad that she basically said F-you to all the people that forgot that.

In the latest WWE magazine featuring Edge on the cover, there is an article that mentions that Lita may soon be leaving the company. The article states that the companion to the Rated R Superstar may soon be "moonsaulting" away from wrestling. This comes as no surprise as we have been reporting for several weeks now that Lita wants to pursue opportunities outside of wrestling.

credit - http://wrestlingheadlines.com/

On RAW Lita, Edge and Randy Orton came out to the ring together with their arrogance at an all time high, seeing as they were all victorious last night at Cyber Sunday. Lita held her title up proudly as Edge announced her as the new champion. Eric Bischoff comes out and announces he's the GM tonight and that DX is banned. Ric Flair and Roddy Piper come out which leads to the main event being Edge and Orton vs Flair and Piper for the tag titles.

Later, backstage Lita is seen talking with Eric Bischoff. Eric asks Lita why she'd want to defend her title tonight against Mickie James. Lita reminds Eric of his phrase "controversy creating cash", Lita then whispers something into Eric's ear and apparently whatever she said has a controversial ring to it.

Before the main event Lita defended her title successfully against Mickie. Lita had a special stipulation however. Mickie would have to compete with one arm tied behind her back. The two ladies battled it out, Mickie tried her best and got a few good shots in and even dodged a moonsault, but one arm didn't cut it when Lita nailed her with a vicious DDT to retain her title. Lita then gloated and announced herself still the women's champion. She then introduced Eric Bischoff to the ring who's the referee for the main event. Lita stood at ringside for Edge and Randy's match, which they ended up losing thanks to DX interfering.

· Amy-Net.Org

Lita's WWE contract is scheduled to expire on December
1st. As of a week ago, the feeling was that she'd
finish things up at Cyber Sunday or the night after on
RAW, but it looks like she'll be staying at least a
little while longer because she was just added to the
U.K. tour that starts on Wednesday. Maria and Candice
Michelle were pulled from the tour in favor of Lita
vs. Mickie James title matches. Once her contract
expires, Lita plans on concentrating on her punk rock
band and doing some indy film work. The general
feeling within WWE is that Lita will eventually sign
with TNA due to the easier schedule.

Credit: www.rajah.com

First up tonight Lita defeated Candice Michelle in round 1 of the Women's tourament to determine a new women's champion. Lita told Candice she should have been handed the title back, and she got Jonathon Coachman to grant her permission to choose her own referee. As expected, she chose Edge. Not even 20 seconds into the match, Edge speared Candice and Lita pinned her for the win. Cena then rushed to the ring. Lita and Edge flee the scene.

Moments later Cena is shown ragging on Edge in the ring. Lita and Edge return and begin exchanging words with Cena. Cena begins making fun of Lita. Lita grabs the mic and says she has had enough of being made fun of. She says she has feelings to. Lita says just because all the fans and Cena can't have her, doesn't mean they need to say rude things. Lita then returns the favor and tells Cena that everyone knows Edge is a better wrestler. She goes to say everyone in the lockerroom is a better wrestler. Lastly she says even she is a better wrestler than Cena. Cena agrees, but says she'd only be a better wrestler if he had one arm tied behind his back. Edge gets an idea. He says Cena has a match tonight...against Lita! The stipulation is, Cena must have one arm tied behind his back. Lita looks worried, as she doesn't like this.

Backstage, Lita and Edge confront Coach. Coach loves their match idea but makes it more complicated for the Rated-R couple. Coach says Edge is not allowed to lay a hand on Cena or else his rematch clause is terminated. -- This brings us to the main event. Lita vs John Cena. Lita is worried and looks to be feeling nausious. Cena gets one hand tied behind his back and the match gets underway. Lita pokes Cena in the eye, kicks him between the legs, and slaps him a few times. Lita goes to attack again, but Cena stops her. He jolts her up on his shoulder and nails an FU on Lita. Cena then pins Lita for the win. Edge can't believe it.

@ Amy-Net.Org
