AboutIn this community you will find things such as, but not limited to: puppies, wizards in love, cultish behavior, fangirls, boy kissing, proper grammar, and enough fan fiction to make J.K. Rowling's lawyers twitch.
If any or all of these things do not appeal to you, we would suggest you find something a bit more your taste. Try playing solitaire. Or googling things.
If any or all of these things make you incredibly happy inside, if you avidly claim to be a fangirl, a shoeboxer, or a shipper (or all three!), if the idea of Remus and Sirius making out in the Astronomy Tower is at all appealing to you, then this is your home. Here you may let your imagination run wild. Post your Remus/Sirius fan fiction, your fan art, your Shoebox fan fiction fan fiction, or Shoebox fan fiction fan art. Be obsessive and be proud.
NUMBER OF RULES: 8. USES OF THE WORD "WANK": 2.
1. Give proper credit where proper credit is due. If your fic is about The Shoebox Project, credit Jaida and Rave. If you believe that someday J.K. Rowling is going to seek out every fan fiction writer and sue them for all they're worth, then you should probably go ahead and credit her, too.
2. Always include a rating along with your story, so the younger members will know what not to read while their parents are watching--I mean, what not to read. At all.
3. Always put stories and art beneath a cut, no matter how eensy-weensy they may be. For the record, that is the proper term.
4. Flames, while often tremendously amusing, are unnecessary. Feedback is lovely. Constructive Feedback is a gift from God.
5. What's with the smut, people? "Remus wanks" is not a plot. Not that we want to Orwellify what you write; freedom of expression is bomb. We at A Mutual Slurping advocate Smut With A Point. This can also extend to Fluff With A Point. Just have a point... it doesn't even have to be legit.
6. We will only accept members who can give a sample of their work. Just leave us a comment here. Bystanders should friend the community. Grammatically incorrect writers will be propelled off a cliff by Count Olaf. OGs will be subject to this rant by![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

One more thing: Try not to give us smut as your example. We're here to judge your writing skillz, not have a pleasant wank in the backyard.
7. There is no excuse for plagiarism. We didn't think we had to put this rule up, but apparantly we were wrong. If we see any examples of this, the person will be deleted and the original author will be informed of the crime. Major emphasis on the word crime.
8. Your Moderators accept gifts. Especially in the form of chocolate. But none of that Hershey's crap. We're hxc.
