Cherry Hollow is a mental institution located in New Haven, Connecticuit. The young adult ward hosts men and women between the ages of 18 and 25, with a wide variety of problems. Being admitted to Cherry Hollow is not difficult. What they don't tell you when you sign yourself away is that you sign yourself into their care, and they decide when you are ready to go out. And once you're signed in, you're in a completely new world. There is no privacy. Nurses check on you every fifteen minutes. You cannot go to the bathroom or bathe without supervision. Most of the doors in the ward are locked. Your behavior dictates what kind of supervision you receive. From day one, you're taking a variety of pills, and the nurses will not tell you what they are (but rather, to discuss it with your doctor). Once a week you see a therapist, and the therapists themselves are even suffer from their own potentially serious problems. Not to mention, there is a mysterious upstairs ward that patients have been known to simply disappear to, without a trace and never to return. Signing yourself in to Cherry Hollow is like diving into a black hole...

Once you go in, you may never come out.

Amplified RPG has been running for more than a year and a half and has seen dozens of players and characters come and go!
