COMMUNITY GUIDELINES: READ THIS FIRST

Amldduwiaeth is a space for individuals interested in learning about, discussing, or practicing Welsh flavors of Celtic Reconstructionist Paganism. The hope is that this community will be a place where we can build community, as well as develop a body of knowledge.

To that end, we ask that you agree to and follow these guidelines:

Please stay on-topic. As a general rule, if you can reasonably connect your post to Welsh culture, language, folklore, or mythology, you're probably okay. Remember, though, that the focus is on the CR side of things, and there are only so many conversations we can have about love spoons before someone gets gagged with one.
Please be respectful. We don't discriminate against individuals based on their age, race, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, height, weight, religion, politics, etc. Acting out -isms is frowned upon, and offenders will be dealt with. Likewise, trolls, spammers, and other vermin. We have a banhammer. We are not afraid to use it.
Please limit discussion of other religions. We're not here to bash anyone, and we're not here to draw the ire of people who follow other paths. Ideally, other paths should only come up in conversation when it's relevant to CR or Welsh culture. Evangelism is frowned upon, and offenders will be dealt with.

What is CR?

Celtic Reconstructionist Paganism (CR) is a polytheistic, animistic, religious and cultural movement. It is an effort to reconstruct, within a modern Celtic cultural context, the aspects of ancient Celtic religions that were lost or subsumed by Christianity.

Eclectic paganism (though many CR practitioners are interested in or participate in other paths as well)
A racist or nationalist movement
