mommy says hush hush babygirl don't cry.

I find it difficult to cry. I remember Miss E telling everyone "nak tengok Sab nangis? Memang susah ar jack".  Whenever the bottle is about to burst and spill, I often try pinching myself hard, or poke myself with something sharp, but somehow the tears just won't shed. Hence the muka ketat. Sometimes all you really need is a good cry, just to release yourself a bit and hopefully when you're done, you could sneak peek a little bit of rainbow and sunshine, then you can smile like you mean it.

But but but.

Crying doesn't feel awesome anymore when it is a cry over nothing.

Throbbing headache. So not a good cry either.

Cry, so you could beg someone to stop crying. Not a good cry also.

Or worse, you cry so hard hoping you could feel better after that, but turns out hell no.

I find it difficult to cry. So when I do cry, I would like my cry to be appreciated.

First world problem of the now

My keycard to the room was demagnetized. Waiting for transporter to arrive and grant access. In the meantime, i am enjoying some adult beverages at the Galleria bar. Same bartender as last year. He is very nice.

I may go sit at a Texas Hold 'em table while I wait so that I can get free cocktails. Maybe some mindless Roulette. Lol.

And I thought that trying to study for *exams* in this heat was difficult.

We had our officiant-less rehearsal in our unfinished icky basement, cause it was a reasonable temperature.

Okay, 90% of my friends list has posted this meme, so I will too:

One little compliment can make you feel amazing. So give me a compliment, anything in the entire world, even that my shoelaces are pretty. Put this in your journal. And once you get some comments, put that entry in a memory or tag and when you are feeling down, just go to that entry and this will remind that you're not so bad in other people's eyes after all.

I don't know how to make comments anonymous, so it might take me a minute.

KITTENS~!

So, I left work an hour early yesterday, and made it to my parents house in time to see Kitten #4 and 5 born!!! I was right! (We had made bets and I said she would have 5). She is an amazing mother! And the whole time she wanted people to watch her. Even know she will follow everyone around and cry at them until they go back to her nest so we can watch her nurse!!

So I can't figure out how to posts pictures here at work, but sometime by Sunday I will post pictures!!! We have a lot.

I eat a ton of buffet and shop at the outlet malls. I generally fly in with the clothes on my back and an empty suitcase.

I just heard today that a friend of mine passed away yesterday. It was a bit of a shock as although she had a long term health condition which does reduce life expectancy sufferers on average live until their 30s and she was only 19.

She had a rare genetic disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB, and children born with it are known as "butterfly's-wing children" because their skin is literally as delicate as a butterfly's wing and can break or blister at the slightest touch. Because of the delicateness of their skin it can also affect things like their digestion and often sufferers' voiceboxes are scarred so that they never develop the deeper voice of an adult. There was a documentary a few years ago about the condition called "The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off", which may be on youtube.

I met her years ago at a drama group which she loved and never made an issue of her illness, she just found ways around it, and I will remember her as being creative and talented as I met up with her later when we went to the same college, and she was always sporting a bag or top she'd made herself.

The funeral is on Friday and I'm not sure whether to go or not but I've been told if I want to attend I must wear bright clothes which really made me smile.

If anyone is interested in or worried about the condition or wants to donate towards research for a treatment or cure you can go to www.debra.org.uk.

In fact if there is a DebRA charity shop near you it would really mean a lot to me if anyone was able to donate some old clothes or clutter or pop in and buy something little. There is a list of shops on the website.
