I can't eat my normal foods that have a "slimy" consistency ie yogurt, ravioli, fish, bananas, etc. My back has been killing me especially in the mornings, this could be due to me just sleeping oddly though. I have been moody beyond all reason. I went to a center that does free testing, and she said that though the test was negative, it's possible I'm not far along enough for it to show yet. I'm interested in hearing other's opinions and what other explanations there could be for these symptoms, and how long it would take, thereabouts, for a test to show positive if it were. Thanks!

He told me he had not ejaculated at that point.

I don't want to get ahead of myself because I know these are also signs of getting my period. I'll just have to wait it out and see, I suppose!!! I'm just going to assume if my period doesnt start in the next couple of days, that it's a YES (seeing as how I'm on BC)

Not sure. This is where it gets confusing. My cycles have typically been regular, about 30 days long, but since I've been recovering from anorexia, I've only had a couple periods. The last cycle was only three weeks long, and the one before that was two weeks, and before that I didn't have a period for six months! So they're all wonky and I don't know what my body is doing anymore.

They gave me Ortho Micronor, a P.O.P., instead, and I took it for, I think 2 months and everything was fine. Then I stopped taking it for a couple of months; THEN I started it up again, I think in October. I wrote down that I had my period on October 9th, I don't remember how heavy or light it was. I have been taking Ortho Micronor regularly through Oct., Nov. and Dec.

Probably just stress creating 'symptoms,' because it's so soon after the 'incidents.' I can't believe I didn't realize the risk of dry sex (he was undressed, I had underwear on)/fingering through underwear. I've read up on Scarleteen and of course it makes sense that there's ONLY a risk of pregnancy if semen/pre-cum soaked through my underwear, and I don't think that happened (I would have felt wetness from him, and the time I remembered to check afterwards the outside of my underpants weren't wet), but I've been nauseous and crampy the past two days, and just wiped and found a tiny bit of blood and it's nowhere near my period... I've never bled between periods before. Is a tiny single streak of blood 'spotting' or just a freak thing that I wouldn't notice if I weren't panicking? My vagina hurts, but this is probably because I've never masturbated or been touched there before, so that part makes sense. It's possible that that stimulation caused a tiny bit of bleeding and the cramping. It's probable that I'm fine, but I'm panicking.

Here's the paranoid part: We were having "dry sex"., so he ejaculated in his jeans. He had on boxers and jeans, and it definitely soaked through at least to the jeans, because I saw the wet patch. I was wearing a skirt and underwear. I don't think that the skirt got wet, but I'm not sure now. Normally I wouldn't be concerned about this, but I started spotting later and read some stuff online that scared me pretty badly.

We used the "pull out" method which I know isn't very effective. We were very careful and my boyfriend never came in me, but there's always the possibility a little bit did before he pulled out (and we had sex several times in a row and he didn't pee in between, so some sperm may have been left over).

My "period" started Friday afternoon (the 11th), which wasn't so early compared to the normal date. But the first day the blood was very dark; the next day a little bit redder, but still not as it's supposed to be (very much brown/dark), and it completely stopped this afternoon. I must have used only 3 or 4 pads, while usually my period is extremely heavy on the second day and lasts for at least 5 days.

One of my friend had "implementation bleeding" happen to her a few years ago when she was pregnant, so I'm worried this may be it. I've also had a headache since yesterday and have been extremely, extremely tired for the past few days. I also have cramps and feel nauseous. I get headaches pretty often and thought the cramps and nausea were because of my period, and I've been taking iron for months because I'm much below the normal dose, so I thought I just needed to take more of it to take care of the tiredness. The pharmacist assured me that it shouldn't compromise my protection. Still, we were pretty careful. The week after I finished the antibiotics, however, we weren't quite as careful - still no intercourse (I am being treated for vaginismus), but some serious dry-humping and naked genital rubbing. (As close to sex as could be without penetration.) No condoms or other kind of protection. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me that the antibiotics might still be in my system or I would have been more careful.

It's mostly just the antibiotics. Annoyingly enough, I took a pill late this Monday (it's week 3 of the pills), which is throwing me off as well. (But *this* week I'll be extra careful.... I'll keep the late pill in mind...)
Today, I am having some very mild cramping and light brown spotting, which I'm hoping is just because of the late pill, but I'm now getting nervous that I wasn't careful enough with the antibiotics........
Clearly, I have a tendency to be paranoid, I know, especially without actual intercourse... I appreciate that I'm probably overly worried and that the only way to know for sure is to wait to get the period. But is there actually a substantial risk here?

The only other time I've ever had a baby dream was when I was about 9 weeks along in my last pregnancy (I dreamed the baby died) only to find out two weeks later my worst dream came true and the baby had passed at about 9 weeks gestation.

Also, I've been having weekly hCG tests done. It was at something like 8,000 or 88,000 (I forget) the day before I miscarried and then dropped to around 700 the day after. It went down more and when I tested on 11/10 it was at 61. I did not test the following week because my husband and I were on vacation. I assumed it would be back to 0 when I tested last Monday. Could it be possible that I went down to 0, I ovulated, took a few days to implant and my numbers are on their way back up? -Yesterday afternoon (Sat the 31st) I started odd very light bleeding. Mostly not enough to reach undies, but some did. Is mostly brown, with some red tinge occasionally. We're going on a day and half, with no indication it's tapering off (thought it was, but nope). It's early for implantation spotting (normally 6+ days I believe?) but late for ovulation. Given that my cycle is more likely to run short than long, it seems odd for me to be ovulating late. Mainly just curious why I'd be spotting, especially since it's never happened before. I can't find any stats on how common ovulation bleeding is, but most sources seem to agree that about 20-30% of pregnancies have implantation bleeding. Can't find anything on whether one is usually longer in duration or anything like that that might help me distinguish between the two. Anyone got any info, especially on ovulation bleeding since it's the hardest to find anything on? Thanks!

I have switched to Alesse about 8 months ago from Ortho tri-cyclin. Since then I have had break threw bleeding (brown blood only) every month, I have told my doctor and he didn’t seem concerned. My period on September 1st was late by a day, which is odd for me and was lighter than normal. My next period only lasted a few days, 1 day of bleeding then mostly brown blood. It could just be all in my head, I might be thinking too much into this.
