WELCOME

Saint Ambrose Catholic High School: a religious boarding school filled with the normal mix of fanatics-in-training, simple-minded religious students, and problem kids in need of "shaping up." Students receive a good, comprehensive education, and it's even considered to be a prestigious environment for more than your basic theistic instruction. The teachers are kind, the campuses are large, and all in all, Saint Ambrose is a wonderful place to be.

But there are whispered rumors of something else going on beneath the surface. Locked doors show up down every empty corridor; teachers behave strangely; kids have sudden, violent attacks and disappear afterward. Letters sent home never get replies.

And every once in a while, a new 'transfer student' arrives, courting an odd smile and no apparent knowledge of the world beyond Ambrose's walls.

Saint Ambrose is a multifandom high school AU with a sinister twist. The students of Ambrose are all part of an experiment, the dark details of which will unfold only in time. These experiments will typically lead to the development of exponential powers that mirror the character's canon abilities to an extent, although they may be weakened in some cases.

There are two underground programs employed in the school — the ‘ROOTs’ program, which trains emotionless tacticians, and the ‘DOGs’ program, which trains ruthless soldiers. Players are free to apply for normal students, affiliates of either program, or administration and staff, although the applications differ for each group.

While there is an underlying plot to Ambrose, the end result is in the players' hands.
