It's officially cold*. For the last week we have been hovering around 13C/55F every day, and that's just more than I feel up to dealing with So only one thing to do about it - run away to somewhere warmer. We hop on a plane early Monday morning and will not be back until the 23rd. The basic plan it to sit back, do bugger all, walk along the beach and drink wine in the sunshine (while hiding under a hat and 30+ sunblock applied an inch thick). I do hope to get some writing done while I am away too, in fact I bought a new notebook to take with me because I thought it would mark a fresh start and I could just let this whole not being able to write thing drop away.

I will be able to check my email every couple of days, so I am contactable, a reply just might be delayed by a day or two.

Anyway, I want you all to make sure you run amok as much as possible, think very naughty thoughts and generally do as many bad things as you can while I am away. Feel free to share any or all of these dastardly deeds here of course. Particularly the naughty thoughts.

Someone just posted this on zombie_survival and I tell you, despite it being terribly un-pc, its stupidly funny.

Ok - I don't want to jinx anything, but I have actually been doing the odd bit of that writing kind of stuff this evening. No promises to have things done anytime soon, but there are words typed. Halle-fucking-lujah. Now everyone on the count of 3 point at hapsburgxx. You pointing yet? Well that's the culprit I hold responsible.
