HAVE FUN: That is the main and number one rule. Ugly Betty is filled with drama and laughter, so you know there's got to be lots of juicy stuff to talk about! Post fanfics, icons, quotes, funny OTP signs. Anything really, just HAVE FUN with it.

PLAY NICE: As moderator's, we reserve the right to delete any post should we feel the need. We want you to have fun though but we also want you to get along. No bashing members, no fighting in comments, just no drama whatsoever. First look we get of any silly livejournal drama, you get a warning. Second time it happens, you're out. Out, banned, and you never get to look at the book again.

RESPECT: R-E-S-P-E-C-T. This goes with the above rule, except there are general "be aware" priorities. If somebody posts any kind of graphic and you take it, comment and credit. Be critical, tell the artist what you like and what you don't; but do it RESPECTIVELY. If you like/don't like a fic a member has posted, feel free to share your opinions. We are not here to stop you from having opinions. As long as everybody is mature about it we shouldn't have any problems.

CREDIT: aka name your sources. This normally applies to taking graphics, but if you're posting an article or a picture, be nice and let us know where it came from so we can have concrete proof that what you're posting is truth. We don't want nasty rumors to get started.

LJ-CUTS ARE YOUR LOVERS: And they cuddle. ...Moving on: Have a huge picture? Put it behind an lj-cut. Have a GREAT spoiler? Warn us, then put it behind an lj-cut. YOU TUBE? I do too, but put it behind an lj-cut. All fanfics should be done behind a cut as well, proceeded by it's rating. This is just to let us know if we're going to read good smut or not.

DON'T GET CUT: When it comes to promoting communities, we're okay with it just as long as it relates to the show/character's in some way/shape/form. Hearing about any new community is awesome, but if you go ahead and post advertising about some new Britney Spears community, well that really has nothing to do with the show or the character's and we might have to reconsider your posting access!

FRIENDS LOCK IT: Posting where to find new episodes or some new amazing spoiler? For the sake of the community and for your sake as well, please, please, PLEASE friend lock your posts.

BE SPOILER-AWARE: Please don't post episode spoilers until after the last episode has aired on the West Coast (that's 1am EST). A discussion post will be put up every Thursday by one of the moderator's either before or after the episode has aired on the East Coast. This rule is to be fair to everyone because we know how hard it is to wait to talk to somebody about it, in which case it is a given that there will be spoilers in the comments. All other posts must state whether or not there is/will be spoilers contained in the post/comments.
