A few years ago, when Wilson was between marriages and the wounds of having lost Stacy were still fresh for House, they had a night together that they both didn't expect nor intend to happen. It's remained an unspoken secret between them ever since.

Until the night Wilson turns up on House's doorstep after finding out his wife has been having an affair. What starts out as just a friend offering another friend a place to stay for a few days, turns into something much more.
