AboutWelcome to Altered Books, the place where you can learn to fold, spindle and mutilate a book into a powerful and beautiful work of art.
This community is created primarily as a "resource" community. The primary goal of Altered Books is to create a shared index of resources. A place to share links and techniques, which will be saved as "memories" and indexed for easy look up.
What can you submit? Techniques, links, questions, and answers about altered books, the 3 dimensional artform that starts with an old book as a foundation for personal and shared expression.
When you come to read this site, because of the unique way this community works, you may find it better to skip the actual journal intries and just go straight to the memories and look up the information in there.
