The weekend is upon us and it's time for all you weekend warriors who have been slaving away all week waiting for that moment to get buck wild to ante up and cause some barnstormin'! There's more than a few great parties and shows this weekend, and here's the pair that I've got the incredibly good fortune to take part in - hope to see y'all at one of them! That's right, it's our annual naughty church theme at Vancouver's most notorious fetish party! Calling all Naughty Nuns, Pervy Priests, Saucy Succubi, Fallen Angels, Catholic Schoolgirls & Kinky Choirboys! In addition, there is an honest to goodness fetish wedding between two saucy souls who got engaged at last year's Church Of Sin. Ceremonies presided over by the Pope Of Sin! As well we welcome back DJ CATHERINNA for a long-awaited return guest set at Sin City! This is also your last chance to grab tickets at Sin City for the upcoming SEVEN DEADLY SINS Anniversary Sextravaganza on July 26 at Richards! Tickets are advance $16, $20 door. There are no service charges if you grab them at Sin, whereas most advance locations charge a nominal service fee of between $1-3, and even more from online vendors. This event will sell out, so don't wait and be caught without an advance ticket in hand, and hell, why not save a buck or two that you can put toward LIKKA! Make sure and grab your tickets from the front door / coat check ladies on Saturday! Four bands at the Media Club? What's more, four AWESOME bands? All for $15 advance, $20 ... plus some halfway decent tunes between performances by yours truly? This show is going to be AWESOME - 16 Volt brings the coldwave guitarz vs. technoid thunder, featuring members of KMFDM / PIG, Daniel Ash Band, Chemlab and Human Factors Lab, and people have been clamouring for Bella Morte's return ever since they won an unsuspecting crowd over opening for Hanzel Und Gretyl two years ago. LSD & Rabbit Junk are just gravy on an already huge smorgasbord - both feature in-your-face vulgar displays of jungle techno-punk. There's also an art installation from I, Braineater, fashion show by Nancy Black and a host of other awesome stuff going on. Attendees are highly encouraged to dress New Romantic / New Wave, and to top it off there's new wave makeovers being done by the Blanche Macdonald Makeup School team!! We're looking for the absolute KINKIEST & SEXIEST photo of the night featuring the medical theme!  We have a super cool medical themed photo booth hosted by resident photographer Atratus from Gothic BC.  HOWEVER - we're looking for photos that IMPLY the sexiness and kinkiness, not just put it out there obviously, so for example, photos with no blatant or obvious nudity that can still imply these themes in an artistic manner absolutely will be the most preferred. We're going on record to say this was one of the best nights for costumes and outfits, and for corresponding photo galleries, EVER at Sin City. Round One of the Carnival Theme at Sin City two weeks prior was an unbelievably crazy party with spring madness exploding into full bloom, but this one left it in the dust for sheer number and awesomeness of people's outfits and ideas. The two body painted tiger girls were defintely one of the highlights of the night, camping it up all the way through, but they were only two of the many, many attractions under the big top of Round Two of the Sin City Carnival Of Kink at Club 23 West! Halloween 2007 at Richards On Richards saw over ONE THOUSAND kinky costumed people invade Sin City's Halloween Fetish Apocalypse party, making it the highest attended club party of the Halloween weekend in all of Vancouver, bar none. Hands down this was the craziest party at Sin City to date, but our massive seven year anniversary party looms large this summer, with a Seven Deadly Sins theme, and Halloween 2008 with this year's FETISH ZOMBIE INVASION theme will be on us before you know it!
