Hello there.
Hey, all!
You’ve probably noticed a lot of changes going on around here, including the table, the new FAQ post, and new prompts. That’s because, a little while back,
lucythedragon gave up the community, due to time constraints. We volunteered to take over, and here we are, hopefully keeping everything running smoothly.
Who are we, you ask? That’s sort of the purpose of this post, along with noting a couple of changes.
This is what Kelly says:
"I’m
subluxate, but you can call me by my name—Kelly. I’m a college student overinvested in LiveJournal, but we all need a hobby…or an addiction, as the case may be. I run or help run several communities in addition to writing fic and role-playing. Outside of LiveJournal, I’m studying English, psychology, and liberal arts, and working on an original novel. You can either e-mail me at rwryter[at]livejournal[dot]com or leave a comment on this post at my journal if you need to contact me for anything."
And I'm
sarcasticsra, also known as Sara. I'm not as overinvested in LiveJournal as Kelly (Hell, I don't think anyone is. =P) but I still am fairly addicted nonetheless, as I write and role-play myself. I'm younger, as well—I'm going to be a senior in high school once the school year starts again. My email is WLiiAlover88[at]aol[dot]com, and as such WLiiAlover88 is also my AIM name, if you need to get in touch. I have Y!M and MSN, as well (redblue2007 and redblue2007[at]yahoo[dot]com respectively) so I can pretty much talk to most of you. I'm on near constantly, though there is the chance that I'm away from the computer. Just leave a message and I'll be sure to get back to you if that's the case. Incidentally, all this information is in my userinfo, as well.
So, we've made a couple changes:
-RPF/S is now allowed.
-There are now multiple prompt lists. This means that multiple people can claim the same thing, as long as they choose a different prompt list. We did this to free up some claims, in case people want to write one that's already been taken, because we'd like to keep this challenge low pressure. We're not enforcing time limits on claims. (Well, unless three years go by and you still haven't posted anything.) However, we do encourage you to complete your claim in a relatively timely manner. Others might want to have a shot at it, too.
-There's a new header guideline in the community info.
-The userinfo has been changed to reflect the new rules.
I think that's about all. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
