There will be plenty of gifts to go around for AMC fans this December. "We get to play Santa," enthuses MMT.

"Erica comes into the baby story in a wonderful way. The Montgomery-Kane family takes center stage toward the end of December. It'll be a Christmas that nobody will forget." Does Bianca get Miranda back? "What viewers have been wanting to see, they're going to see."

AMC will tape scenes at SSW in Florida that will air the first week of December. "You're going to see JR sing at a concert. David and Krystal are there. Tad is there. Babe and Jamie are there with JR's son. The concert sets in motion a whole lot of things."

"David's falling for Krystal, no doubt about it. Tad makes a very surprising choice which affects his relationship with Brooke, his relationship with Kendall(????), his relationship with JR. Adam makes a huge choice which affects everybody."

"Zach will do just about anything to protect his son, yet he really loves this woman (Maria) and wants to love her again."

Viewers will find out "what's wrong with Greenlee and where it will lead in terms of who shot Ryan and who is out to get Ryan. You're going to see some astonishing things that Kendall does. The friendship between these women is not dead."

To sum up? "Payoff, payoff, payoff," promises MMT. "Everything gets bigger, deeper, stronger."

Rebecca Budig previews Thanksgiving. Jack and Erica host Thanksgiving dinner at the Valley Inn. "it's pure chaos," she says. "Kendall brings Ethan, so Greenlee's upset about that. Derek's upset about Reggie and Danielle. Everyone's fighting. "Greenlee ends up leaving the party early because she's all crazy and whacked out." Still? "She's thinking maybe she is going crazy," offers Budig. "It's got to be something. The blood test is showing her that it's not anything in her blood. So she's thinking she's lost her mind." Or maybe that's just want someone wants her to believe.

It’s a Thanksgiving to remember when Erica and Jack hot a very special dinner. But the guests may get more than they bargained for when chaos erupts! Erica and Jack are prepared for a lovely meal that’s just not meant to be. Before the last bit of cranberry sauce is devoured, Derek loses his cool, blasting away at Reggie and Danielle. Then it’s sister vs. sister as Kendall and Bianca have it out, leading to Ms. Hart’s threats to fill in JR on some crucial information. Ethan has his own news, telling Erica about Greenlee’s attempt to turn Kendall into road kill. Trying to explain his sister-in-law’s actions, Jonathan reveals Greenlee’s recent mental episodes. Needing more than turkey, an off-balance Greenlee heads over to Fusion, where she gets weirder by the moment and prepares her next -- potentially life threatening -- move. Thanksgiving is chaotic all over town as enemies gather at the Chandler mansion. JR invites chaos to the Chandler mansion when he "welcomes" David, Krystal, Tad and Brooke for dinner. Tad and Adam argue about Stuart, Opal snipes at Krystal, and everyone's angry at David and Krystal, making Bess' first Thanksgiving one to remember.

Meanwhile, Babe and Jamie, far away from the craziness of Pine Valley, enjoy a warm and loving Thanksgiving with baby James. But how long will it be before the storms brewing up north make their way to then? As Bianca heads from her mother’s to pick up the cell phone she left at JR’s, the phone rings -- it’s Babe trying to get in touch with Bianca. David runs to the underground tunnel to call his daughter, Babe, only to be caught by Tad, who demands to know where the kids are. Tad threatens to reveal what he knows when David refuses to give up Jamie’s whereabouts. With no answers forthcoming, Martin leaves to tell JR the truth -- the whole truth -- just as Bianca comes in to find her phone.

so my friend i went shopping the other day...she bought this really cute outfit.. .as we were leaving the mall she turned to me and goes "you know why this outfit seemed so familiar, maria was wearing it a couple of weeks ago"

thats when i decided that All My Children become a fixture in our lives, the fact that she said that.. and the fact with that one little sentence i knew what she was talking about.. .haha

sidenote: when bianca took out her phone today i realized she and i have the same phone!! dont know why she owuld have it htought cause the phone is a piece of crap!! her mom is erica kane... you would think she would have at least a camera phone or something nice like that.. haha

I saw the post about "mutiny," and figured if this journal happened to get deleted for such petty reasons, we could all move over to amc_addicts. I love the people of this community and would hate to lose it. :)

law_witch, would you care to co-mod? Or heck, you can main-mod if you want. :) I don't have much time these days to be the good mod that a community deserves.

I'm confused, I was under the assumption that Paul Kramer could possibly have fathered'Ace'and that was partially the reason for giving him to Kelly, (as he was the one who knew the dna results/altered) at least I thought that was how it was presented duiring the storm, did I miss something? Is JR the BIO dad?

Do we DARE hope? I woke up just in time to see scenes from Monday! Babe calls Bianca and actually says "Everything in the letter I wrote you is true."

Now, if Bianca says something like "I know this is you JR! and you do a lousy Babe voice!" I will STOP watching this show and write to Eden and tell her she sucks. I can understand having to follow your script, but to let her character be this STUPID! I love love love love Binx. If I were a lesbian I would have such a mad lusting on her, but I mean come ON! How much further can they push Bianca into stupidity before Eden says enough?

Goddess give me strength. I'm SO sick of AMC.

The first thing I want to say is I don't want anyone telling me to protest. I already protested from Feb/March until Sept of this year. And when I got back nothing changed.

It is so painfully obvious that Ryan's little bro is drugging (or doing SOMETHING) Greenlee. I mean I didn't think Greenlee was so fucking stupid that she couldn't figure out that EVERYTIME she has an "episode" it's after she's taken a drink from something that he handed her! UGH! I'm so sick of her and Ryan. And I agree with whoever said it first. Ryan and Greenlee got married to stick it to Kendall, I don't think any of us are going to just start loving Greenlee because she's crazy.

BIANCA MIRANDA IS ALIVE AND SHE'S BESS! or BIANCA BESS IS MIRANDA! Either one of those lines would be acceptable to me. And I don't care who the hell says it. Just some one please say it. Someone please shout it from the top of the Enchantment building! Please! I can't fucking believe this stupid story line is going to be going on until December at the earliest. I've hated this story from the beginning. I will hate it until the end.

Bianca please go psycho on Babe's ass. She really needs to get what's coming to her. I know Binx is supposed to be all sweet and forgiving and yeah she can forgive Babe in time, but any mother who found out her daughter was alive and kept from her by her "best friend" would get all up in her "best friend's" face and let her have it. And if Bianca doesn't do it then she's not human.

Rape is not an option. If someone else gets raped on this show I think I'll kill myself. Seriously. The idea of Kendall being date raped just sickens me. Although Babe deserves it I rather have Babe get hers by Bianca then some random man.

As for the preggos go this is how I want it to be. Kendall and Ethan. Anita and Adian. Babe and Jamie.

Why is Bobby on the show? Is there any use for him? No. GET RID OF HIM! I hate Bobby. Opal and Palmer need to just get back together. They are always together anyways. And where the hell is there boy? Make him grow up and be Maddie's age. I miss little Maddie. I loved her. But then they can hook up and Sam can not like his sister dating Peter and so they can get into it and we can get some drama. lol

Edmund. WALK! Get your ass out of the chair and WALK. I mean have you noticed how your character is going NO WHERE since he got shot? I mean seriously. Just get out of the chair and walk, kick Zack's ass, and beat Maria for being a hoe.

i'm keeping though my opinion about the show in my mouth.. bc the only reason i'm still watching it is because of the chance for BAM.. but that will be over within a year or so bc both actresses want to move on if BAM doesn't happen.. so i figured.. they get BAM over christmas.. then wait until their contract experies.. they move to Boston to have kids together.. and there ya have it.

i haven't bianca not getting mad at babe... that I AM DEFIENTLY made about..

but these other rumors and spoilers... you have to realize alot of rumors dont happy, or they've been so changed throughout the course of mouths that it doens't make sense...

we'll see how long i still watch this show.. but i'm going to miss my eden, liz and alicia

Ok, so we're all hating the new spoilers/rumors we're hearing, wishing that McTavish would just get fired.

So I'm at ihatebabe and tease about wanting to become the newest soap writer and someone else says she'll join me. So it got me thinking, where does AMC get their writers from? What do you have to do to become a soap writer?

Oh and on that note, I remembered reading here mention of emailing campaign, to show that we are not happy. I don't know if that was in jest or was said seriously. If so I thought this was the thread to organize it in, whether it be writing to sponsers, doing the email petition, whatever.

Thoughts, questions?

I occassionally visit the soapzone.com message boards for AMC as each board seems to have its own feel of the show, and today I stumbled upon a post regarding some "possible spoilers." The source appears to be from someone who is thought to be close to the show, but of course, I can't vouch for any of it. Personally, I think they could easily be rumours, but at the same time, they're things I wouldn't put past McTavish, particularly the first plot point possibility. I got my information originally from this link:

- McTavish is strongly considering having Babe get raped, as a way to make the audience sympathize with her, and redeem her. Babe is supposed to be perceived as a heroine, but viewer input is mostly negative (or downright hatred of her!). McTavish feels that a Babe rape storyline is the best way to garner support for Babe, and it would also make Babe and Bianca grow close again.

- If Babe is not raped, Kendall will be date raped, it will be the first step in putting Ryan and Kendall back together again. Viewer response to Ryan and Greenlee has been all negative, or even worse - indifferent.

- Krystal and David are going to be the next older supercouple - how will Jamie react to having the evil David as his father in law?

- not long for the show are:
Jonathan (going to jail)
JR - Jacob Young wants off the sinking ship
Bobby - also wants off the sinking ship

- the writers are tossing around the idea of re-casting Laura English. Laura Allen, who played her last, is not interested in returning, as her film and television career is pretty steady. The new Laura would be a love interest for Aiden. If JR stays he may be tested with Laura as well, in a play on the Adam / Brooke relationship.

- viewers aren't going to be thrilled with the big revelation that Miranda is alive... Bianca will not go off on Babe as most would like to see - in fact she claims to understand Babe's motivations.

- Julia Barr will be bumped to recurring by spring. I am sorry to be the bearer of this bad news, as she is a truly gifted actress.

If these are true, AMC may have lost my faith completely.

Thursday recap

I hate to say it, guys, but today is going to have to be my last day doing Thursday recaps. I realized, while trying to watch the show a few minutes ago and shushing my screaming kids (who never did quiet down long enough for me to hear the TV very well), trying to fit the show and recap into my hectic life before hub gets home, that it's just one more thing that I don't need to be doing. So, in order to try and simplify a bit, Thursdays are officially up for grabs.

If I happen to catch the show next week and have time for a recap, I'll try and post if nobody has claimed the day. I just can't have so many commitments anymore.

And now, on to the show!
Babe and Jamie are on the road, "James" is backward in his carseat, Babe talks about being deleriously happy, but then makes a strange comment about her wanting to be his sister. Incest, anyone? She says something about Tad and Krystal hopefully being married, to which Jamie says "when hell freezes over!" They won't be married because Tad's too good for her and won't put up with her lies, so to speak. They don't really talk about anything good, and then Babe thinks that just maybe some wires got crossed back in PV, so she says she has to go back and fix things right away.

Greenlee and Ryan go to the hospital to check the results of Greenlee's MRI. Maria tells them it's normal, but she wants them to see a psychiatrist to see if she may have some mental problems. Greenlee refuses, saying she doesn't want to have to rely on meds to feel normal, but Ryan says that it's worth the shot to fix it. Blah blah blah. This show was so boring today that it's almost painful to recap! She finally agrees.

Krystal runs into Bianca at the boat house where Bianca goes on and on about how great Babe is. *vomit* She also thinks that Babe killed Paul Cramer, which is why she had to leave so quickly without Bess. Exit Krystal, Bianca's thoughts turn to Maggie and their time at the boathouse together. Surprise surprise, enter Maggie. They take the time to plug the Enchantment Christmas line, which will be out the 29th if anyone cares. Maggie talks about Johnathan *evil glare* and how great he is, Bianca says she just wants to see Maggie happy. Maggie asks why Bianca isn't making herself happy by going to Poland to see Lena. She says something about staying to watch out for Bess.

Krystal, David and Tad are all back at David's cabin and Krystal says she wanted to tell Bianca (gee, so soon?!?) about her baby, but couldn't because Adam would hunt down Babe and Jamie. Tad, about to have a nervous breakdown, goes off on David and Krystal for (generally being terrible human beings) keeping such a horrible secret for so long and affecting so many lives. David says the truth will come out when Paul Cramer's killer is convicted, but until then they need to keep it under wraps. Tad refuses to wait. David accuses Tad of wanting to bring Babe and Jamie back just so he can see Dixie's grandchild and hold on to part of Dixie. (Tad should have decked him for that one.)

Erica meets Jackson at the airport, a day early, and they speak suggestively about taking the welcome party back to his place. Reggie and Danielle are making out on the couch, ready to "take it to the next level" when they slip off to the bedroom. Enter Jackson and Erica. Jackson walks in on the nastiness going on in the other room and freaks out. While I'm assuming Danielle was getting dressed, Jack discusses the situation with Erica. Erica says to let her handle it and treat them like adults. When R&D come back out, completely dressed (Thank GOD), Erica starts talking about Thanksgiving dinner. Reggie makes up a stupid excuse for Danielle being there, and says that she hasn't been there past 8 the whole time Jack's been gone, but Lily arrives to prove him wrong, complete with pictures! Jack and Reggie take their discussion to his bedroom, "I got burned because you were irresponsible" blah blah, while Danielle talks with Erica. She's a virgin, doesn't want Reggie to think badly of her, but not ready for sex. Great to know, really. (Can you tell I don't like these two? Actually, I like Reggie, but Danielle makes me want to gouge out my eyeballs and eat them before watching her onscreen again.) Anyway, enough with the "It's okay to wait" talk and Danielle finally leaves.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The stars of daytime soap opera "All My Children" will celebrate 35 years of twisted plot lines and melodrama with a Broadway musical in February to support the fight against AIDS (news - web sites), ABC said on Wednesday.
The one-off production on Feb. 7 will feature daytime television names such as former talk show host Rosie O'Donnell, as well as the stars of "All My Children," which has been on the air since 1970, including Susan Lucci and Eden Riegel.
The ABC series, which has won the Daytime Emmy Award for outstanding drama three times, is known for its complicated plot lines that have included faked paralysis, blackmail, lewd pictures, plane crashes, kidnapping and drug-smuggling.
Proceeds from the Broadway show will go to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

I found my last week's SOD and they were talking about stories people forget. They mentioned when Ryan first came to town as a con man and stole from the TV station. I liked Ryan way back then. Also, I realized that I miss Gillian.
