| About: | Tired of depressing, angering, negative news? Want a dose of positive energy, or want to share your own good news? This is the place to do it! Obviously we're not ignorant to the woes of the world, and a lot of us work to counter it, but this is a place to remind LJers that people can be decent, that the world can be beautiful, and that hope still exists. Feel free to post any news bites that tell a good story, brag about a personal accomplishment or anything else that'll make others feel better about their day. Try to avoid things like proselytizing (spreading the "Good Word"), "positive" news that bashes a certain group of people or commercial posts. Also, I, Lupa, the moderatrix of this community, reserve the right to remove any postings for any reason. I'm pro-queer, pro-equality and pro-environment, so news related to gay-bashing, glorifying pollution or racism/sexism is likely to be cut. We're here to make people feel good about the world, and if bringing others down makes you feel good...well...this ain't the place for you.
