Hey, peeps! It's Friday, and as per usual, I'm all by my lonesome. Anyone around?

'ello everyone. I'm known as Kel and I thought I introduce myself, I mean, it's only polite. This as absolutly nothing to do with the fact that its 1:45am and I'm bored. Really....ok maybe something to do with it, but only a little! For those who care enough for the mundane details I'm a 17 year old scottish gal with a TW obsession and no reason to be up this late and several not to (seriously, I'm going to be needing a coffee fix in the morning). The main reason I am up is that for some reason my body clock seems to deside, within 2 days of going on holiday, that it will not go to sleep before 4am. Meaning I don't get up till 2pm....which causes all sorts of arguments with parents. Annyway, Im off track so greetings to all.

Oh, and here is link to a piece of rambling I did the other night. Just thought some of you might appreciate it.

Anyone else awake? I can't seem to get to sleep myself - anyone got any sleep remedies to share?

I've been searching for communities to pour my soul into when I get all verbose (not to mention bored) in the wee hours, but I haven't found a super-active one thus far.

I just created night_owlery (I know, I know, promoting is lame), and I hope some of you might be willing to check it out. It's a bit plain right now, but I'm always open to suggestions!

 Hey, I'm a Stay at home mom with a weird schedule. I have a sleeping disorder and have a hard time keeping a normal sleeping schedule. Plus my husband works second shift so I am usually up too late hoping to catch him walking in the door. I'm 27 from the chicago burbs married almost 8 years have 2 kids 7 & 5. I play xbox live, WAYYY too much. I usually game till 12-1am then get on LJ to check everything I missed in the evening. I also have an addiction to midnight munchies, lol My fav is cookies and milk. choc chip or oreo usually but lately its been lemon or vanilla sandwich cookies.

Anyone else have a fav midnight munchie???

I feel bad for neglecting this comm. I hope everyone is well!

I spent a good part of the last few days making Torchwood icons. Now they're done and up, I'm trying to decide what to do with the rest of my evening. I am off tomorrow, but Nin works all weekend and tomorrow, so I'm home for the duration.

Anyone around? I'm at a loose end. Finished and posted two stories this week, but am not quite ready to start the next one. Completed my self assigned project of sorting DVDs and avi files, have cleaned up the kitchen. I could watch something, but I don't know what. So instead, I'll bug y'all :)

I'm a bit upset, but I need to go to sleep, so I can get up early tomorrow. Anyone got any suggestions of funny or cute distractions online?

I'm sure there are things I could be doing -- should be doing. There's fanfic I could be working on, lots of fanfic I could be working on. There's stuff I could read or watch. Instead I am meh. Usually I can at least amuse myself with some simple icon making, even that isn't working. So anyone got ideas or entertainment for the awake but directionless?
