Summary: Forget Jimmy Olsen. When a seductive male vampire shows up in Smallville and targets Chloe, a terrified Clark has no one to believe him, and no one to turn to... except for trained vampire killer Charley Brewster and his partner, a horror movie legend.
Notes: This is a story I began over a year ago, and have only now found time to try and finish it. Unfortunately, due to some time constraints and illness in my family, I'm running a bit late with the final part of this story. I expect to have it done by Tuesday, at the latest. But I wanted to share what I have so far. I will make sure to edit this post with the link to the second part as soon as it's done.
Speaking directly of the content of the story, One small part of it proves that the AU part of this originally sprung from a mid-season five episode of Smallville, but it mainly takes place after a very early season six episode. I know this seems to very much be a vampire-themed story, but believe me, a zombie will appear in it at some point. I was given another prompt, collateral damage, but I wasn't positive if it fit the story. Enjoy, and leave feedback, if you feel inclined to do so. :)

My prompt was Changeling, which is the term for a fairy baby left in place of a human child. Changelings are a part of folklore across Europe. Some legends include fairies seeking revenge on humans who disturb their fairy hills, or punishing new mothers by switching their babies when they are forced to go back to work. I’ve also included references to Richard Dadd, a Victorian painter from Kent, England. He suffered from schizophrenia or bipolar disorder and often painted fairy scenes, his most famous work being The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke.
