My friend and co worker died Sunday well that is when they found her body. We think because she was sick for a week and refusing to see a doctor well we think she died from a deadly cocktail of over the counter drugs and vodka. She was an alchoholic and sickness would not have stopped her from partaking in it. It started as a toothache. A week later she is dead.
Sans we really should have done this or that. She refused medical attention because it would have detox'd her and she didn't want that. Less we forget how fragile we really are.
Let us tell people that we care about, we care. Everyday. |

I hate peer reviewing. SERIOUSLY!! We had 20 minutes (NOT enough, btw) to write an essay in class and then have our three of our peers anonymously review it. 1st reviewer: very, very valid points. 2nd person: Really didn't have a new opinion, but still brought up some stuff I'll pay attention to next time. 3rd person: Douchebag.
Here were his... "critiques":
"Your examples were bad." Want to tell me WHY? Were they off-topic? Did they fail to prove my point? You just didn't like them? Well, tough tits, son! If you don't want people to have thoughts you don't like... then don't be alive. o_O
"MONTGOMERY!!!!" ... As is "This. Is."? As in Alabama? I WAS TALKING ABOUT GANDHI. And, also, the SIT-IN MOVEMENT. I did mention Rosa Parks a little, but just herself. Not the Montgomery bus boycott.
"Get your facts straight!" ...GANDHI WAS IN INDIA, YOU IDIOT! AND THE SIT IN MOVEMENT ORIGINATED IN NORTH CAROLINA!
You do, sir, do for critics what Stephanie Meyer does for writers.
Either learn to read or learn to turn your thoughts into comprehensible sentences.
Douchebag.
And might I add, I don't give a shit what my peers think about my papers. (One time a guy said my paper sucked because I used big words. I am not shitting you.) What matters is what the TEACHER thinks. But, even though she does not teach or give out work and has nothing to grade, does she bother with them? NO. "Oh, you wrote a page. Full credit!"
YOU'RE THE PROFESSIONAL HERE. I WANT YOU TO READ IT, NOT A BUNCH OF OTHER TEENS. THE SAT WILL NOT BE GRADED BY A GROUP OF TEENS! |

Well I haven't posted here in a hell of a long time....
but i felt i should considering whats happened recently
My shoulder has been hurting for a few weeks now, originally told it was tendernitis. Went back nearly 2 weeks ago, was given an injection into the joint and a weeks sick note. Went back last thursday, felt fine until saturday. Went back the docs this morning and was given a sick note for a month and have a physio apppointment for thursday this week.
Only downside is lack of work.... not long been back from 2 weeks hols :P |
